Visited this place for a weekend lunch. Surprisingly found it the best place. From outside don't feel it but once entered it's a huge place with good ambiance. At a busy location of camp having such a big restaurant with good parking was a surprise to me. Whatever we have ordered the food was all satisfied our taste buds. Service was very quick. Ambience was good. We tried: Uttaranchal Paneer Tikka Corn cheese tikki Tokri chat Cheese garlic naan Pav bhaji Khada pav bhaji Definitely recommended

Revisiting Ramakrishna Restaurant in Camp, Pune, after two decades was a delightful journey back in time. Ramakrishna Veg is one of the finest veg restaurant in Camp, Pune. It is established in a very old british era building ( constructed in 1906) with wonderful interiors and decor. Food quality is exceptional at Ramakrishna and one finds the restaurant always crowded with people who loves to enjoy exceptional veg food from south indian snacks to main meal. From outside one does not get the feel how big is restaurant, but it is huge place which can possibly accomodate 400-500 diners at any time. Restaurant ambiance is very good with very big parking facility. Food & ambience in restaurant is excellent and quality of same is well maintained. Hygiene is maintained to perfection. Entire staff is well trained, well mannered and very cooperative. The overall experience is so good that one does not mind waiting for 15-20 mins to be seated in restaurant and enjoy lovely veg meal. For me, it is the best veg restaurant in Pune today and for many years. Btw, this Ramakrishna is a unit of very famous Mumbai based south indian restaurant, Ramakrishna, which is situated at Nehru Road, Ville Parle (east), Mumbai. I had invited one of my friend for evening snacks at Ramakrishna and was surprised that though he is a pakka Puneite for years, he was visiting Ramakrishna for first time. But after having snacks at Ramakrishna, he was full of praise. So, all Puneites (especially from main Pune City), just see what are you missing if you did not visit Ramakrishna so far. After visiting it once, you will forget about all other popular and much hyped veg restaurants in Pune.

One of the finest restaurant that I have found in pune. I went here around 11:20 in the morning to have lunch. Surprisingly the restaurant was already full. Food & ambience was up to the mark. The most appreciated part is the hygiene they are maintaining. Served & maintained in well mannered.

This place is an excellent choice for dining. The staff was highly professional, and the food was incredibly delicious. The service was quick and efficient, making the overall experience even better. For the main course, we ordered Paneer Mussallam, which was flavorful and absolutely delightful. For dessert, I tried the Kaju Kismis, and it was equally satisfying. The space is well-maintained and spacious. While I was enjoying my lunch, I noticed at least 100 people dining there, yet the restaurant remained comfortable with plenty of seating available for new guests. The variety on the menu is impressive, offering options to cater to everyone's preferences. Overall, it's a fantastic place to dine with family, offering great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service. I highly recommend it!

Its a old restaurant food was average nothing as hyped service was also average price to quantity ratio is good. Ordered Tomato soup, veg bhoona, naan and jeera rice everything was good nothing out of the box usal veg restaurant food nothing fancy

Yesterday, I visited a restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. The sabji was good, but I didn't like the taste of the chaas or the service. The service was quite poor -- they served roti to those who had ordered naan and vice versa, without confirming the order. We had ordered 4 naans and 3 rotis, but they brought 5 naans and 3 rotis instead. As we are Gujarati, we know how chaas is supposed to taste. However, the chaas served there did not taste good -- it seemed more like water mixed with curd rather than proper chaas. Moreover, one glass of chaas was priced at 65, which is quite high for just 250-300 ml. When we pointed out that the chaas and service were not up to the mark, they bluntly responded, "This is the way we do service." And surprisingly, at the end, they even asked for a tip -- not just the waiter, but also the manager and valet staff, claiming they provided excellent service. Overall, my experience was not as good as expected.
