Customer Reviews & Testimonials

A good authentic "Urban Dhaba"...food, location and atmosphere to match! On the highway... doesn't serve alcohol! Place was full on a Saturday night! Great Indian food...though the veg noodles for kids was nothing great! Better to stick to Indian food Dal makhani and Rabri jalebi were awesome! Starters including the Paneer were good... apparently the paneer is made by them only and was soft! The "Banta's" were a disappointment though... tasting sugary and too thick! None of the flavours were good! Service was BAD! Too much time for all the orders. No visible "captains" were at hand to speak to. The waiters had a devil may care attitude towards delay. You just had to fret/grin and bear it! Live music was in the form of a young guy singing on karaoke...he was good! Later I guess they also allowed patrons to sing!

Best for non-vegetarians! In the starters Crispy veg and in the dessert rabadi jalebi is a must to try!!! Overall service, atmosphere is nice. If you're getting together at this place for a chit chat then live singing would be a distraction for you since it was a bit loud

I have recently visited this place, Here is my honest review about this - 1. Ambiance - it's a good place for Ambiance, open roof hotel, nice sitting arrangement, perfect distance between 2 tables (which will not disturb your privacy) and good bollywood background music which will help you to enjoy food 2. Food - food quality and quantity is good enough, we have tried multiple things here which was delicious in taste. You will get wide variety of food items, that is quite impressive 3. Service - It's a good Service, We have enjoyed a good food here, captain helped us for order food according to our taste, and quantity to be ordered. Team served food. 4. Price - To be honest I feel these food was little bit over priced, May be because of Ambiance and location, but if you compared food with price my personal opinion it is overpriced. And it has Service Charged included. 5. Parking - Enough parking space is available, mostly this place is crowded so sometimes it's hard for 4wheeler parking

We were here after watching a cricket match and this place was very crowded. We had to ask for basic things like spoons, bowls, salad, chutney again and again. Masala papad was average tasted oily. Corn starter was good Chicken Jalandhar starter was good Hara bhara kebab was average Masala Butter Milk seems plain and average Paneer main course was ok We tried Chicken main course based on waiter's recommendation but the gravy was very sweet. Butter Garlic Naan was good At last, Rabdi was good but Jalebi was very average and not worth the hype. Free parking available at the restaurant.

Rangla Punjab in Pune offers a decent taste of Punjabi cuisine. The ambiance is lively and the staff is generally friendly. We tried their butter chicken, dal makhani, and naan. The butter chicken was flavorful, although a bit on the sweeter side. The dal makhani was creamy and rich, but could have been a tad spicier for our liking. The naan was soft and nicely cooked. While the food was enjoyable, we felt the prices were slightly on the higher side for the quality and quantity. The service was a bit inconsistent, with some dishes arriving much later than others. Overall, Rangla Punjab provides a decent dining experience, but there's room for improvement in terms of consistency and value for money. **Recommendations:** * Consider offering more vegetarian options. * Improve service efficiency, especially during peak hours. * Re-evaluate pricing to better reflect the quality and quantity of food. **Overall:** A decent option for Punjabi food in Pune, but with some areas that could be enhanced. **Disclaimer:** This review reflects personal opinion and experience. I hope this review is helpful!

I recently dined at Rangla Punjab, and it was an unforgettable experience! The restaurant has an authentic Punjabi vibe, perfect for a casual date or even a family dinner. The ambience is lively and welcoming, capturing the true essence of Punjab. I tried the Makki di Roti and Sarson da Saag--hands down the best I've ever had! The Paneer Chapata was equally flavorful, and to finish, the Rabdi Jalebi was the highlight--a perfect sweet ending to the meal. Special shoutout to Mrutunjay Kumar for his exceptional service. He made sure we were well taken care of throughout. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Punjabi cuisine!

I have tried a variety of dishes in this restaurant, they were paneer Amritsari, dal fry, Veg Biryani, Raita, Masala papad with Rotis. Masala papad was crunchy and tasty with cucumber on it. Paneer Amritsari was also awesome to taste and the thing that surprised me the most was that the quantity was ample(enough for 5 people). Dal fry was simple and tasty. Raita was also nice to taste( the curd in which it was made was the best curd that I have eaten outside my home). The veg biryani was tasty, freshly prepared and had a mild aroma of the spices used which made it a perfect dish. There is plenty of Parking available in this restaurant. Children's heightened chairs are also available here. Washrooms are neat and clean. The service was great. Just that the food takes 20-25 mins to arrive which is the only parameter that can be improved. As of now, I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Not Worth the Hype - Food Was a Letdown Visited this hotel just to try the food based on all the high ratings, but it was honestly disappointing. There was no taste, no spice, and definitely no fika experience as mentioned. The food felt bland and uninspired -- not what you'd expect from such a well-rated place. If you're planning to go just for the food, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. The ratings are misleading. Don't trust the hype.
