Saileela Family Restaurant

Had seen this place on Insta reel with mention of Kala Masala mutton, hence went to try out. We reached by late 11.15 pm and this was still open. We ordered 1 mutton kala masala curry, 1 half malvani mutton handi to along with Indrayani rice and Tandoor Roti. This place serves Bhakri and Chapatti also but since we arrived late it was over. The atmosphere/ ambience was decent and 4-5 table mostly family were dinning. This place also offer Chicken and Mutton thali. Coming back to taste the Kala Masala mutton curry was good in taste however the quantity was less as compared to the price. At Rs 320 we had only 5 piece of mutton, that too mostly with heavy bone. Similarly with the malvani handi at Rs 400 it served only 6 pieces. Surprisingly we found the Malvani mutton and it's red rassa more promising than the black curry. Both the curries were good with mavani being the better one. Indrayani rice was decent ( was not that authentic Indrayani sticky rice) Regarding the quantity and bony pieces we spoke to the Owner called Sagar he said that they served this much quantity only and clarified for the bony pieces saying that since we were late, only Bony pieces were left. To compensate it he offered us a complimentary Solkadi. Overall good experience, food was good, willing to visit again but the restaurant seriously needs to work on quantity offered ( At Rs 400 , 6 pieces in handi doesn't sound value for money).

Disclaimer: This is NOT a paid review. Instead, it's an ode to a brilliant restaurant deserving of the recognition from ardent foodies like me. This is a hidden gem in the bustling food universe of Pashan. I recently discovered it and I think it is the best thing to happen to my foodie palette. Despite being a very humble, yet clean non-airconditioned restaurant with just about 10 tables, the food that comes out of its kitchen is simply finger licking good. The quantities are ample and the flavors authentic. I'll definitely recommend their thalis, moghlai as well as their Chinese. They have a vast menu, and the slightly longish wait time is worth the gastronomic experience after. Agreed that you won't find the bells and whistles of the fine dining we're used to at Saffron, Tipzo and Shivanjali, but the simplistic ambience of Sai Leela coupled with its delicious and reasonably priced authentic cuisine will surely give you that dhaba wali feel. If you live in a radius of 2 kilometres from this restaurant, they will deliver piping hot food right at your doorstep. Do visit at least once, or order in, and you'll never want to eat from another restaurant in Pashan again. ~Om Sai Ram~

The flavors are delightful, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes offering excellent value for money. The thali is particularly impressive. Although the service falls short of perfection, it's still quite satisfactory.

Good place to eat specially non veg authentic thali. Captain Shailesh served us very well.

Tasty food biryani is most delicious and the owner sagar garud is so polite to speak and his service is best

Nice newly opened lounge in New terminal of Pune airport near gate number 6 on ground floor. They accept hdfc cards also , the lounge at 1st floor is not accepting hdfc cards . But space and ambiance here on this ground floor lounge is great. Food is ok. You can rest and enjoy food while waiting for your flight.

Good place for eating. Staff is good. Good food at affordable price. I visit every Sunday for dinner. Non-veg is available. I liked their Chicken Dum Biryani. Located on Pashan Sus-road.

We went for dinner and didn't find a good menu , not good service, the waiters didn't even listen if we called them, the dishes were not clean, food taste was not ok.
