Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Husain

The place is famous for its mutton seekh kebab and paratha and it lives up to its expectations. The seekh is sumptuous. The hotel has sufficient seating space and since we went on a Sunday it had people waiting outside. The crowd here is predominantly Muslim. The prices are reasonable and pocket friendly.

This restaurant is situated in Shivaji market. They serve Halal veg and non veg food. We often go to eat food there. The place is a little bit conjusted but The food is very tasty. Must try.

Giving them the 4 star just because whenever I visited there is a huge waiting time. But I must say this place is every time crowded. Do check out their weekly special items. I especially love their Nalli Nihari they only serve on two days i.e... Wednesday & Thursday. Do try it out if you are near the camp area. It's located right behind shivaji market. And I Forgot to mention their juicy sheek just melts in your mouth.

During our first official trip to Pune, we decided to explore a local restaurant for lunch. After searching through Google and YouTube, we stumbled upon Shahi Dawaat. The auto dropped us off near the restaurant, and at first glance, the surroundings were less than impressive--a damaged road and a nearby drainage leak made the area seem a bit rough. When we asked the driver for directions, he told us in Hindi to walk about 75 meters and look to the right. As we walked, we passed two street vendors selling shawarma on the left. I was taken aback by the vibrant red color of the shawarma and the incredibly low price of just 50 (55 with extra cheese). Although it was tempting, I decided against it, thinking it might not be the healthiest choice. Finally, we reached Shahi Dawaat, and let me tell you, the food was beyond our expectations. We ordered Tandoori Roti and Chicken Patiala, which turned out to be one of the best dishes we've ever had--truly next level in taste. The highlight was their famous Sheek, made purely from meat without any fillers like dal. The fresh mint leaves served with each plate of Sheek added an amazing flavor, making it even better than Kareem Hotels, Delhi My only cons are the lack of seating and no air-conditioned hall, which can be a bit challenging for families. But overall, the food is exceptional and well worth the visit.

This restaurant unquestionably offers the finest kheema in Pune, and at an unbeatable price! Their tandoori rotis complement the local favorite kheema, making it a delightful combination. I've been a regular here for the past few years, visiting at least once or twice a month--I just can't resist. Don't miss out on their delectable chello dishes, and the seekhs for starters with mint chutney are absolutely delightful. Every bite is a treat!

this place is always hustling and bustling with customers. The hotel is in a small lane next to Shivaji market. The food here is amazing. You can't miss the chicken kebabs and the desert. Ignore the ambience and the entry point. Just go there if you love tasty food.

Terrible experience! We went for dinner with family at 8:30 PM, only to be asked to vacate the table by 9 PM because a so-called VIP was supposed to sit there. The staff didn't even bother to serve the additional food we had ordered and kept hovering over us, pressuring us to leave. In the end, we had to cancel our order as we couldn't enjoy our meal in such a stressful environment. The food was disappointing, with all dishes tasting the same, and the owner showed no interest in addressing our complaint. Avoid this place--it's a complete letdown!
