Typical bar where you shall find men's in their late 30s or 40s having their regular liquor with bar offering free chakan. Food is decent tried chicken sukka and was not disappointed

Although my paneer tikka and roti were very good, as was the service, the place is quite dark in a "heavy" sort of way and also very stuffy. In addition, coffee, tea, and dessert are not available. There is a lot of potential here, which didn't occur to me till after I left because the almost oppressive atmosphere was really getting to me, even though I was enjoying the food. If they would just remodel and make the restaurant's 3 rooms lighter and more attractive, what a difference it would make. Oh, yes, and add the missing menu items...

Good place for a beer and bangda fry is a must try,gives a old local bar ambience but a good place to chill

When you are looking for a bar at J M Road and a quick service, Shailaja seems to be perfect for you'll in my mind. Of course, this is not a 5 star or 4 star restaurant, but it's at least good enough to quench your thirst!! Wow! Now I call that a spot or add in our language. Those who love big ones will not like this one.

Good one with cheap rates. But difficult to get parking.

This bar is for those who don't want the fancy atmosphere and loud music. In this bar you can chill quietly, enjoy your drink and food. This is one of the oldest bar in Pune. I'm going here from last 15 years and it's still the same. Food taste, drinks and service is totally worth it as per the chargers

Anybody from the 90's who knows how bars used to be back then, needs to visit this place for an absolute authentic Retro bar experience..Looking for a Retro bar, look no further.. Shailaja should be your stop
