I recently visited Yeti - The Himalayan Kitchen in Baner and had an amazing experience. The ambiance instantly transports you to the hills, with its cozy, rustic decor and traditional touches that make it feel authentic yet relaxed. It's perfect for both casual outings and special dinners. The menu is a refreshing change from the usual city offerings -- featuring a wide variety of Nepali, Bhutanese, and Tibetan dishes. We tried the Jhol Momo, Ema Datshi, and Shyaphaley, and each dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The momos especially stood out -- juicy, spicy, and so comforting. They also have a good selection of thukpas and traditional curries that are hard to find elsewhere in Pune. The staff was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and happy to suggest dishes based on our taste preferences. Service was prompt, and the team made sure we had a comfortable dining experience without feeling rushed. Drinks were also thoughtfully curated -- we loved the Himalayan butter tea and the local beers on offer. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but completely worth it considering the quality, portion sizes, and the overall experience. Yeti brings a taste of the mountains to Baner in the best way possible. Highly recommend visiting if you're looking to try something different or if you're missing the flavors of the Northeast and Himalayan regions. Will definitely be coming back to try more from their extensive menu!

The perfect place for some Himalayan vibes! Yeti promises this experience from their varied authentic food options. They do have pork and buffalo options too though we tried only chicken and prawns. The ambience is cosy with colourful flags hanging all over the place and the walls are adorned with beautifully painted face murals. Food was tasty and the service was super fast which is what we liked the most. Though they have only 3 dessert options, we tried 2 of them and they dint disappoint.

Yeti's menu showcases traditional dishes prepared by cooks from the respective regions, ensuring authenticity in every bite. Signature offerings include: * Thakali Thali: A wholesome platter featuring a variety of Nepalese delicacies. * Yeti Special Kothe Momos: Half-steamed, half-pan-fried momos stuffed with tender pork or chicken, served with in-house peanut sesame and schezwan chutneys. * Ema Datchi: A Bhutanese cheesy chili curry paired with tingmo (steamed Tibetan bread). * Sukuti Fry: Crispy fried buff jerky sauteed with onions, garlic, tomatoes, and Nepalese spices. Immersive Ambiance The restaurant's decor reflects Himalayan culture, creating a cozy and culturally rich environment that transports diners to the mountainous regions of the Himalayas.

The food at Yeti - The Himalayan Kitchen was fantastic! We tried the momos, and they were hands down the best we've ever had. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with soothing music that added to the experience. The staff was friendly, and the service was good--though the food takes a little time to arrive, it's absolutely worth the wait. The space is slightly compact, with seating for about 6-7 tables, but it feels comfortable. The only downside was the washroom, as it's located a bit away from the restaurant, which can be inconvenient. Overall, it's a great spot to enjoy a peaceful and delicious meal!

It's rare that a meal silences you not because you're lost for words, but because every bite transports you far from the hustle of the city -- into the misty trails of the Himalayas. After one and a half years of being back in India, I finally found that soul-stirring moment at Yeti - The Himalayan Kitchen. And I owe it to an unforgettable evening of flavour, warmth, and a steward named Gaurav, who truly brought the experience alive. Yeti serves authentic Tibetan and Nepalese cuisine, and I cannot stress this enough: this was the best food I've eaten since returning to the country. We began with the Jhol Momos -- delicately steamed dumplings immersed in a bold, spiced broth that hits the perfect balance between warmth and punch. Then came the Kothai Momos, with that irresistible pan-fried crispness and juicy filling, each bite delivering comfort and depth. The Momo Platter was a celebration of the craft, featuring buff, pork, and lamb momos that showcased variety in both texture and seasoning. Each one was better than the last -- earthy, hearty, and honest. But the crown jewel? The Pork Shapta (Sharpkah) -- stir-fried perfection with tender slices of pork, vibrant spices, and that smoky, seared flavour that's nearly impossible to fake. It's a dish that lingers in your memory and makes you plan your next visit before dessert. Gaurav, our steward, was not just attentive -- he was warm, intuitive, and knowledgeable. His understanding of the menu and the culture behind each dish elevated the entire evening. He felt less like a server and more like a host welcoming you into a hidden Himalayan home. Yeti isn't just a restaurant -- it's a journey through highland kitchens, spice trails, and soulful simplicity. If you're craving authenticity and warmth on a plate, this is the place you need to be.

The ambience is also very cute. Nice and cozy place. Staff is well mannered. The food is average, nothing too great about it. The ema datchi was really creamy and yummy although it gets very heavy after a point.

Yeti- The Himalayan Kitchen in Baner is a delightful escape to the serene vibes of the Himalayas. The warm, cozy ambiance perfectly complements their authentic Himalayan cuisine. We savored the veg momo platter, featuring three juicy varieties of momos, along with the flavorful veg laphing and spicy chilli prawns in Tibetan appetizers, both highly recommended. Their Nepali Veg Thakali Thali is a must-try for a comforting, wholesome meal. Pair it with their handcrafted cocktails & mocktails, and end with Yomari- a divine Nutella-filled rice dumpling dessert. A must-visit gem!

YETI has recently relocated within Baner, and the new space is an absolute delight. The Himalayan-inspired decor instantly sets a serene and cozy mood, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The menu offers an excellent variety, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian thalis, which are a treat for the taste buds. We tried: Tshoem: A comforting Himalayan curry that was perfectly spiced. Jhol Momos: Soft, flavorful momos served in a delicious broth. Yeti Special Kothey Momos: Pan-seared and packed with flavors. Chicken Thenthuk: A traditional noodle soup that was hearty and satisfying. Komolar Orange Kheer: A refreshing dessert with a delightful orange twist. Their signature handcrafted cocktails were the highlight of our meal--expertly crafted with unique flavor combinations that paired beautifully with the dishes.
