It was average. Food was delicious. Ordered the Chicken Crispy which was delicious. Butter Paneer was good and the well prepared jeera rice. The washrooms were maintained well . Everything was okay but the only issue was that the waiters or the staff were the only one. There was only one who was taking orders as well as serving the food so it was a bit time consuming. Plenty of parking, so one can have a quick bite at the hotel on pune bengaluru highway.

I stumbled upon this restaurant on the Pune-Bengaluru highway, where my bus stopped for a halt. I tried the Akhaa Masura, which tasted amazing! The ambience was pleasant, and the service was good. The owner was cooperative and friendly. However, the prices were slightly steep. On the bright side, there's ample parking space available. Overall, it's a good spot to grab a bite, especially for travelers.

Terrible experience eating mutton thali. We ordered special mutton thali, but most of the items had less to almost no salt. Mutton was uncooked and rubbery. Tambda rassa and pandhra rassa no where close to to actual taste. Wouldn't recommend anyone for mutton thali atleast. Service is also slow and unattentive.

The morning service was notably good, but the evening service seemed to have room for improvement. It's worth noting that the portion sizes may be smaller than what you might find in other hotels offering full thalis. Among the items I tried, the Misal Pav, Vada Pav, Kanda Bhajiya, and Tea were particularly enjoyable. The fast food items offered ample quantity, which is a plus, especially when you're on the go. For dinner, it's advisable to request prompt service, especially during peak traffic hours. Aaswad Food Plaza also stands out for offering local delicacies like Lonavala Chikki, Pickles, Jams, and other items that are famous in Lonavala and Maha Baleshvar. Clean and well-maintained washrooms with water facilities further enhance the experience. Lastly, the location is safe and quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy a meal or take a break during a long journey. Overall, Aaswad Food Plaza Pure Veg offers a clean and reasonably priced dining experience, making it a great choice for travelers seeking vegetarian options along the way.

One of the best vegetarian eating joints on Pune-Satara NH48. There are few restaurants coming before this one but I recommend you visit Aaswad for the tasty food, quick service and clean washrooms. They have ample parking place around the restaurant so wether you visit at night or in the noon, you'll have no worries about parking. Their menu is huge with Gujarati, Punjabi, Maharashtrian and also South Indian food along with the regular quick snacks which are available at all time. Most of the restaurants on the highway would tell you that they don't serve snacks during lunch or dinner but that was not the case with Aaswad Food Plaza. 5 Stars for the setup. 5 Stars for the food. 5 stars for the service. We had a very good experience with Aaswad. We ordered Pithla-Bhakri Thali, Misal Pav and Onion Uttappam. All three dishes were well made with good taste and good quantity. Total value for money. And the best for the last, the view in front of the Restaurant is all nature. Mountains and farms. Even though it's on the other side of the highway, it's super pleasant.

Very cheap behaviour of restaurant owner. Ordered dal rice & omelette totally uncooked rice served by them dal was tasteless uncooked . Owner have lot of attitude & anger issues staff is also useless. Dont go there for service.
