This place has a great view of the city beneath. You need to park your vehicle on the main road just beside a big water tank, and take a small cement steps going beside it. It takes less than a min to reach the place. Sunrise or Sunset can be best viewed from here Only problem will be lack of cleanliness. Authority working here should see to that this place remain clean.

Beautiful place to enjoy sunset and have bird's eye view of Satara though it might get lonely. Beautiful architecture and history associated with it. May be 15-30min is enough to enjoy the view. Parking for a couple of cars, no facility of snacks/ water/ toilet around, people bring their stuff themselves.

View is amazing. You get panoramic view of Satara city. The place is easily accessible from main city circle. Also, you can witness the serene beauty of Sahyadri hills (Western Ghaat) which is spread till Kerala. Sun rise and sun sets looks amazing.

Char bhiti is important historical place in satara city. Constructed by chhatrapati pratapsinh maharaj. Reminds the great warrior's of freedom fight 1857 rani lakshmibai, rango balaji gupte and others. This place also called as najar bangla. You can view whole city from this place. Early morning and even time was good to see and feel the breeze. View of ajinkya tara fort side. Reconstructed in 2001. Not that much maintained but all good to see and read the information about the place. Specially local people must have to take care of this place. Overall nice experience!!!

A scenic place built by Raja Pratapsingh in 1880. This is the place from which the Royal women folk would watch the King's procession on Dassera. The monument built later also pays homage to the sacrifices of Rani Laxmibai, Tatya Tope during the Uprising of 1857. We can see the entire Satara city on one side and the Ajinkyatara fort on the other. The place is clean and beautiful.
