Extremely Disappointed with Service and Food Quality at Chulha Restobar - Not Recommended Hi, I'm Khushbu Arora from KhushbuSaysItAll on Instagram. I generally share honest food experiences across platforms, and unfortunately, I had two very disappointing experiences with Chulha Restobar that I feel other customers deserve to know about. 1. Poor Food Quality in Delivery (14th January 2025): I ordered Chicken Tikka for home delivery, and it was extremely poorly prepared -- dry, tasteless, and almost inedible. It felt like it was made without any attention to basic cooking standards, let alone taste. 2. Terrible Dine-In Experience (18th May 2025 - Thane, Manpada branch): I visited the restaurant with friends and we ordered Chicken Crispy as a starter. The first serving was completely bland -- only the outer coating had masala, and the chicken inside had no taste at all. Even the restaurant captain, Mr. Dilip, tasted it and agreed it wasn't up to the mark. He promised to replace it -- and after waiting 45 minutes, the next serving arrived. The aroma was good, and the masala seemed fine, but shockingly, the chicken was undercooked. It was so raw and chewy that I genuinely couldn't swallow it. I again called Mr. Dilip, clearly told him I did not want any complimentary items -- I simply wanted a good meal, which sadly never came. But the worst part was the billing experience: They included the Chicken Crispy in the final bill, even though I clearly couldn't eat it. When I refused to pay for it, Mr. Dilip said they removed it -- but instead, they removed the Chicken Manchow Soup (which I actually had and enjoyed), just because it was priced lower (220 vs 360). After further argument, I had to go to the counter myself where the staff member removed the chicken crispy and added the soup back -- something that should've taken 1 minute took 15 minutes of back-and-forth and unnecessary frustration. Summary: Food Quality: Highly inconsistent. Service: Unprofessional and dismissive. Billing Ethics: Manipulative and unclear. The Only Positives: Their Chicken Manchow Soup is excellent. Murgh Musallam is also delicious -- I had tried it on a past visit. However, these few positives cannot outweigh the overall experience. I had high hopes for Chulha -- it was actually on my "Loved to Visit" list among over 1000+ restaurants saved on my Google Maps. Sadly, as of 18 May 2025, 9 PM, I've removed it from my list and will not recommend it to anyone going forward. If you're someone who values consistent food quality, honest service, and a respectful customer experience, I strongly urge you to consider other restaurants in the area.

Extremely Disappointed I had one of the most frustrating dining experiences at this restaurant. After placing our order, we waited 45 minutes with no updates or apologies from the staff. Despite repeatedly asking about our food, we were completely ignored, as if our presence didn't matter. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. No one even bothered to check if everything was okay. The lack of basic courtesy and customer service was shocking. I came here hungry and left disappointed and annoyed. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone looking for a decent meal or respectful service.

This what they call mutton handi ... This type of gravy is not used as handi . When I asked waiter about it , he said - Jisko order diya hai Usse pucho ...

Been here on Sunday late night post 10pm. Service is terribly slow. No one gives a damn once you are seated on table. Need countless calls for menu, food order, water, bill etc. Ambiance was decent to good. Tried Chef special Chicken Starter which was good and tender with amazing marination. Chicken Lababdar was creamy however quantity was disappointing. Naan also felt little smaller in size than one's we find everywhere. Menu prices are reasonable, not exorbitant. Overall, my experience of good food was overshadowed by terrible staff service. Not going in person again, but just order at home!

I had ordered on swiggy Veg Manchurian Soup from the restaurant The fried noodles serverd along with was stinking and stale . And they apologised only by paying Rs 56 as apology It was the worst experience

One of the best restaurant in Thane West. Food was excellent. Service was good. Valet parking available. Non vegetarian food is best. Mocktails were good. Overall good experience.

Had planned a dinner there tonight but for those who are planning for a dinner at Chulha Restobar please avoid going there.. they only have a good ambience and decent food with atmosphere but the staff there is really pathetic and very slow in serving food, we literally had to wait 45-50 mins just for a starter to come over, we were totally disappointed with these and would encourage my other fellow mates to not visit there, only visit if you want to pass your time because the food serving and staff is very slow and doesn't prepare/serve food on time. PATHETIC SERVICE

Nice restaurant near Kothari compound. We visited for a family dinner on a weekday. Ambience is good, lighting was pleasant. Service was also good. We ordered chicken platter, soup and veg Thai curry rice. Food was well prepared and tasty. Mocktails were also good. Will recommend this restaurant for a nice family dinner.
