I will certainly recommend this restaurant for authentic maharashtrian food. We tried moog khichdi combo, dalimbi usal combo, mix pakoda, shhaalyaacii bhaajii.. phnnsaace peNttis.. all food items were good. There are lot many other items on menu from which one can choose. But all the items may not be available..Suggestion is to make all items available.

One of the authentic and Maharashtrian restaurants in Thane We tried there thali's , Batata Vada , Mugachi khichdi all taste delicious . The modak with top of ghee and puranpoli both taste good

As a maharashtrian myself with love for food since childhood, I am doing more critical evaluation of this place. This pure vegetarian restaurant is a great place with simple ambiance. They have 2 separate menus - one for breakfast & lunch and the other menu is for dinner. Whilst the first menu is bit more compact, the dinner menu offers an impressive variety, from all across the state covering all regional classics. Taste wise, overall the food is good blend of spice and flavour, (tho its bit on a milder side when it comes to authentic taste for a few dishes). I have been here on multiple occasions and have tried 5 6 different things. Mini Batata Vada & Kothimbir Vadi are my go to things! The portion size is spot on and they are generous when it comes to serving extra chutneys if requested. All dishes are moderately priced and the attentive service adds to the experience. A must-visit for anyone with interest to try traditional Maharashtrian cuisine served with care and authenticity.

One of the most authentic Veg restaurant I have been to being a non-vegetarian. These combo meals were reasonable priced around range of 220 to 260 which had tilkut, metkut, lasun chatni, mirchi cha thecha depending on what you are ordering as its mentioned in the menu. Although I didn't like the solkadi as it was super spicy which overpowered the sweetness of coconut snd the kokum. We also had kothimbir vadi which was served with an amazing green chutney and I guess tamarind chutney. Piyush was tasty too. Altogether a Happy Meal.

This is a nice maharashtrian vegetarian restaurant with a good spread of maharashtrian dishes. The ambience gives a old maharashtrian look with Marathi songs which makes it even more attractive. They have good options in combo and thali. I have tried Methkut special thali which was good. The staff is good but seating arrangements are limited and they don't have reservations options so one should make a note of it. Overall it is a good hotel for authentic maharashtrian food.

Good food for pure vegetarians. A typical maharashtrian food restaurant. You can have thali or an a-la-carte. Quick service too.

Visited Methkut, Thane(ghantali) for their Gawaran Thali and Aamras -- and it was fantastic! The thali tasted just like authentic Maharashtrian home food -- fresh, simple, and full of flavor. The Aamras was thick, naturally sweet, and pure Alphonso goodness. Good service, clean place, and great food. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Marathi comfort food!

Nice place serving a variety of vegetarian dishes from different regions of Maharashtra. I tried the fanas Pattice, made with young jackfruit. Crisp on the outside, flavourful with chunks of jackfruit within. Served with a tasty chutney. I had the dal gandora with bhakri. The dal didn't have much eggplant of tomatoes as the menu has suggested, and the bhakri was tok dry. Especially the edges. The sour/tangy taste of the dal was interesting. I ended the meal with ukdiche modak. The filling was great, but I felt the outer casing if rice flour was way too thick, chewy and somehow didn't work for me :/ I really love the variety here and it's great for a vegetarian like me. I'd love to visit again and try some more preparations.
