Nav Gomantak Thane

We recently visited Hotel Navgomantak and indulged in their delicious Fish Thali and Chicken Thali. The authentic flavors and generous portions did not disappoint! However, be prepared for a wait! We had to wait for over an hour for our turn, which was a bit frustrating. Despite the delay, the quality of food and the reasonable prices made up for it. If you're willing to wait, Hotel Navgomantak is definitely worth a visit! Recommended for those craving authentic Maharashtrian cuisine!

Great place for Goan seafood! I tried the Crab Lollipop, Pomfret, Chicken Hirwa, Surmai Thali, and a few other dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic and really hit the spot. The prices are quite reasonable. Plus, the service is super quick. I'd definitely recommend trying the Crab Lollipop and Surmai Thali - they were my favorites!

Below average tasteless food. Not worth the hype at all. Quantity is good but quality is very poor. The rice they serve is cheapest quality rice. Vade was just normal poori with turmeric...not of mixed grain flour not authentic. Fish marinate was tasteless and extremely oily fried in poor quality oil ig. All the waiters were just standing ...u specifically need to ask them everything then only they will serve. One waiter was even chewing n eating some tobaco or panmasala.

Have been here a few times - always delivers ! Delicious food, friendly and prompt service, food can be a little spicy but that could just be me. Would highly recommend for authentic konkan area food

New Gonantak was in my target list for some time now - recommended by my nephew and also social media. Experience was very good. The Bombil fry was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the prawn koliwada and surmai fry starters. For main course we had thali combined with vade, chicken xacuti, mutton masala and fish curry. We also had the standard desserts - caramel custard, kharwas and kheer. Desserts were ok'ish. The restaurant is small and comfortable- has a rustic decor. We loved our evening

Restaurant in Thane West serving Maharashtrian & Konkani cuisine. This place is known for its signature seafood dishes and thalis. Great food, quick service and reasonably priced. Added advantage is that you get beer too. Great combination with the fish fingers & crab lollipops. Do visit whenever you're in Thane.
