The Taste of Malvan

Off road located near G B road Thane this hotel is bit cosy. Ambiance need to improve to the name Malvan. Food quality can be improved. Cost wise too costly in item and compare other malvani hotel locate in thane and quantity served. Parking is on the opposite side of road. Service needs to Improve as during full house the service collapse. Lot can be improved.

Best tandoori lolypops i ever had. Best restaurant in the Town for family restaurant and bar experience. Staff is friendly. Must try cocktails with delicious food.

Food is okay at best. I have tasted better and fresher malwani food

This place's name has been changed to 'Hotel Rajvanshi'. We ordered - Chicken Handi, Butter Naans, Tandoori Rotis, Paneer Gravy, Masala Papad, and Beers. Almost, every item's taste was good. We enjoyed the taste and friendly nature of the waiters. Initially, we were not allowed into the family section even though we informed them that we wouldn't be ordering any alcoholic beverage, this seemed a little bit rude. When the bill was given to us, we asked one of the waiters if we could pay the amount online through any platform and we were told that we could do it on Zomato. Immediately, we paid the bill and showed it to the receptionist. The guy didn't accept this mode of payment due to some business reasons and asked us to make the payment again through cash/card/UPI or pay the difference amount which we got as a discount on the Zomato. Even both of the waiters started claiming that none of them mentioned anything about Zomato and started behaving rudely. After a lot of heated arguments, we were asked to pay the difference amount which we got as a discount from the hotel side. This unprofessional behaviour has dropped the hotel's standard too low and the impression was spoilt.

Visited this place for lunch with a team of 11. The person taking order seems to be freshly picked from the naka. Not properly aware of the cuisine, time it will take & the quantity. One of the worst restaurents in terms of service. Soup & Masala papad were served fast & taste was good but the Chicken starters which were expected with the soup were received exactly 45 minutes after soup. And the taste of the starter was also pathetic & seemed to be not cooked properly. The food took more than an hour to come. The taste of the food was okay. Overall the experience was bad due to the pathetic service levels. Unfortunately there is no one to take onus of the service.

The food taste is really nice here. But the service is not that good. Minimum number of staff was there on a Sunday. The ambience is okay. Do visit if you have lot of patience and time. You won't be disappointed once you eat the food. Taste is really good. Must try - Rawa Tawa Fry - Surmai & Surmai Fish Curry
