After some travelling we have craving for homemade authentic maharashtrian thali food in virar. We found place near old viva college named marathi katta. This place serves authentic maharashtrian thali food and the maharashtrian dishes. We ordered chicken thali, bombil rawa fry and prawns thali. Bombil rawa fry is really awesome. Fresh fish and taste is ahhaa so good. Chicken thali we ordered Marathi katta special and that was too mouthwatering. And prawns thalis prawns are fresh fish and good cooked. And we last we ordered butter milk for complete meal. Overall nice experience. Staff is also good and quick in service. Nice ambiance. Thank you

Overall experience is okish.. place has ambience, hygiene bt service and staff part can be improved. Staff knowledge is avg on menu. we tried chicken koliwada, which turned out to b chicken pakora with lots of ajwain in coating . Total disappointment. Thn bombil fry was ok. Muttun kheema turned out to b greavy with small chuncks ,thn we ordered chicken masala which is again thin greavy with few boiled chicken pcs. Dnt knw whether we understood menu wrong or they mentioned names wrong. We ordered two veg thalis also which was having decent taste... Will recommend for veg food as for non veg more better options are available in Virar.

The food tasted good, but the dish was overpriced. You might consider trying another restaurant, as there are a few nearby options available at a reasonable price.

If you want typical savaji chicken and mutton and Nagpuri style authentic food then you must visit to this place I strongly recommend this place for non veg nagpuri style food they also have good veg menu you should try kanda pithale and bhakari and there green chutney is Owsome.

Awesome maharashtrian food in virar ... Ambience is simple but classy and food is like home-made. We have taken parcel many times and always loved it. Specialist is Sea-food preparation.

Good food. If you want to have authentic marathi food go for it. Veg and non veg both options are available also if you like spicy food perfect place for y'all
