HOTEL TORNA MUTTON KHANAWAL WAI

The taste of special mutton thali is really good, those who prefer a little more spicyness would definitely like the taste. The portion of mutton is also good as per the price point of view. I personally loved the alni rassa and kheema. A separate family section is also available for seating, service is also good. Ambience is decent and open fresh air makes the environment pleasant. Parking space is big enough to accommodate multiple vehicles. Most important thing I was impressed with was the washroom, it was very neat and clean which every one expects, really well maintained.

We recently visited this restaurant and tried their Chicken Special Thali, Mutton Thali, and Punjabi Thali. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The service was extremely poor - we had to wait a long time for repeat rotis, rassa, lemon, and onions. Despite repeated requests, they didn't arrive in a timely manner. The vegetarian dishes were tasteless, and after some argument, the owner offered a supplementary dish for veg, but it didn't help much. As for the non-veg options, the chicken, mutton, and kheema were not fresh, and the taste was far from satisfying. The rassa was just okay, but nothing to rave about. The jwari and bajari bhakari were poorly prepared, so we switched to roti, which was slightly better. Overall, it was not a good experience, and the quality of both food and service was quite disappointing.

We ordered for Special Mutton Thali for 230. The meat pieces were mostly bones with barely any flesh on it. The dogs outside the restaurant feasted on the bones. Thali they bring quickly but any roti/rice etc takes time. Bhakris were nice. Taste was okay.

The hotel was amazing. The food was amazing and the time was 2 pm when we get into hotel at that time there were less people. We ordered mutton til, mutton masala, chicken masala, bhakri, chapati and soal kadhi. All the food that we ordered was very tasty.

We had lunch here in early July 2023. This was recommended by a family friend and we were not disappointed. It's a simple dining hall and no frills at all. We had the mutton thali and the torna special mutton thali. Both thalis were very good. Tasty and wholesome. Not at all heavily spiced and overbearing at all. Everyone including the youngsters and the elders enjoyed it. Well done keep it up!!

Verg good food. I tried chicken special thali, had decent quantity for 1 person. My friends tried mutton thali, they regretted as the basic mutton/chicken thali doesn't have much meat in it only gravy. Special and above thali are good. Rice is something I didn't like, as it was very squishy and watery, but that's a personal opinion.

Only if u r infected by corona and your taste buds are dead and u can't feel the taste of anything you are eating then u should definitely visit this restaurant. The most horrible chicken thali I ever had in my life was at Torna restaurant wai. Food was very salty. And no taste at all in the chicken gravy served. The rice served at first was cold, When informed the waiter was kind enuf to take it back and apologised stating the cook was new hence he served it cold but when he returned the rice was way to watery and uneatable. Was very hungry but still could not complete the thali. Was told Indrayani rice is watery but have been travelling Mumbai - Panchgani for last 30 years and have tried almost every restaurants chicken thali on the way the only reason to write this review is that you don't get such a bad experience that I had. Hope the management and cook changes Soon.

Must visit place with family. Value for money food. Very economical. A courteous staff. A young dynamic owner Chetan Jadhav personally monitor service and comfort of customers.
