Khasi tea stall

Great place to have authentic Khasi lunch on the way from Guwahati to Shillong. Lately they've changed their menu and you don't get quite a few of the original delicacies, sadly.

My first Khasi food experience and it did not disappoint! Two people can eat well for under 300. I'm not used to eating food that has been sitting out, but it's easy to get past with these flavors. If you want spice, eat a green chili on the side. Otherwise, enjoy what is fresh.

Small eating place, but good. The food was good, the service was good, and the staff was nice. We had Khasi food, but you can get north Indian too.

Love this place, ill keep coming here whenever i pass by, no doubts.

Had lunch with family, loved the veg lunch along with Dal , potato fry and bitter gourd made in a local style. I did not try non veg but they looked great too and place is very popular for authentic Khasi food . Service very friendly and place very neat .

Very good place to have local thali on the GS Road. The bamboo shoot pork is just awesome. The eatery is clean and the staff very polite. Awesome value for money.

When u r cold and all travelling and tired, stopping here is a great feeling. Good warm food. Traditional khasi platter and all fast food items and warm coffee and tea. But only thing i found is- too pricey for a khasi thali (as they call it) whereas it's cheap elsewhere for the same thali. Overall it's great.
