Il peggiore esperienza di Bari perche ci sono tanti bravissimi servizi & buonissimi ristoranti nella quella zona. Purtroppo non vale la pena per gusti e servizi costato quasi 60EU. Patate e cozze era troppo salate e grassa, la mia pasta vegana era buonissima(ma tanto olio!) ma servizi (quella signora solo parlato in Inglese molto strana invece noi abbiamo vissuto a Firenze e capito perfettamente in Italiano anche se ho avuto la faccia asiaticaA me disrispetto quando parlo Italiana e cameriera risponde Inglese ma non corretto...altra signora era brava, ha avuto rispetto e tenuto Italiana) e atmosphere strana First time ever we had a bad experience at the restaurant in Bari. In general, sud Italia's service at the restaurant and cafe are very good as they are kind and nice(simpatici) so I had never treated such a weird way. We normally speak Italian since we lived in Firenze and my hubby has worked more than 10 years there, also I love italian language, and no problems speaking with Italians but a waitress person kept trying to use weird english even if we responded in Italian....why? Because of my asian face? The other staff was kind and managed all of our conversation in Italian, explained menu in details very well. Loved their artsy plates and interiors but the seats that they booked for us were inside alley where all the staff and customers came and went all the time (and not the vigorous vibe but only busy, uncomfortable) so I couldn't relax and enjoy our meals for that. There are so many good places and serve great vegan dishes in Bari so I wouldn't bother coming uncomfortable place with unworthy price and treatment again. -to respond to their response: It doesn't mean anything if their english is incorrect and not well explained. If a staff rather explained better in Italian than English knowing WE SPEAK ITALIAN, then which would be the better as a good service? Normally clients don't appreciate rudeness, I think you better learn it rather than explaining a thing that was not actually happened(she was not explaining the menu in English, the other signora was perfectly done in Italian) in my case.

Our dining experience at Niko restaurant was truly outstanding, making it the ideal choice for our last evening in Italy. The service was flawless, and we felt exceptionally well cared for throughout our meal. The entrees were superb and set the stage for a memorable dinner. The orecchiette and fave cicorie were simply divine, packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. The recommendation of the sparkling Ferrari wine was exceptional and paired wonderfully with our dishes. The atmosphere was charming and added to the overall enjoyment. To top it all off, the desserts were impeccable, providing a perfect conclusion to an amazing meal. I highly recommend Nico restaurant for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience in Bari.

An experience we don't want to have again! The food was brought gradually. the difference of one hour and fifteen minutes between the first plate and the last (main course). The clams were brought uncooked. They were not actually cooked. Pay close attention to the payment note. I received 2 bottles of water and charged 6 on the bill.

Excellent food. The fried anchovies and fish were very fresh. Wonderful atmosphere. Loved the presence of the owners dog.

Been in Italy for 5 days, this might have been our best meal!!! Absolutely incredibly food, ambience, and hospitality! Will definitely be back here for another meal during our stay in Bari!

If you're VEGAN, this restaurant is a MUST-try! The chef is a true genius, serving up incredible vegan antipasto platters, pastas, and even vegan meats! We were amazed by the flavors and textures of the 3D vegan meat. Raffaele and Luciana, the owners, are fantastic for opening a restaurant that embraces inclusive dining. They take great pride in using top quality ingredients and delivering exceptional service. I can't recommend this place highly enough--treat yourself and your taste buds!

Eat traditional and delicious Italian food, with a lot of style and culture, featuring an option of many vegan dishes! Great restaurant in the centre of Bari vecchia, featuring many vegan dishes. You have real Italian style prima and secondi piatti, also with several delicious vegan options if you wish to go vegan. There are also traditional non vegan dishes. The restaurant is very neat and well styled but not at all posh. The young waiter, Marco, is very friendly and we had an interesting chat with him. Excellent food in a great ambience to reasonable prices!
