Hotel Tairas

This hotel is very good. Whenever I go to Mokokchung I always stay in this hotel. The employees of this hotel are also very good and I like their behavior as well.

I've stayed at Tairas many times. The staff is outstanding: so friendly, polite and professional. I can't praise them enough. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I love the view. The design is simple but pleasing. My only complaint is the bedding: instead of proper duvets / quilts we are given blankets inside quilt covers. The blankets move around inside the cover, which is a quite annoying. A proper duvet or quilt would be much more comfortable. In winters the floor can be a little cold: a carpet and an electric kettle would be great additions to the overall comfort. The food is ok. It could be improved. But the hotel is great value for money, the best in Mokokchung. I'm thankful to all the staff! They're really the best :)

Let's just say in plain simple words. Brilliant..!!! Honestly i didn't expect it to be this good. Room was good, service was excellent..!! I never expected the food to be good but it was like home food. Come to the city Mokokchung, if only the road connectivity can be made better, it can easily beat Shimla or other so called hill station. Had a fantastic stay of 3 days. Hope it get recognised more.

The hotel had just opened when I arrived, so there were a few small improvements that needed to be made (eg. some ceiling panels that needed fixing, no wifi); but thanks to the wonderful staff, I had a great stay. After a couple of days, on my request, they set up wifi for me, and provided excellent service throughout. The location was great, so was the view. The rooms, though simple in design, were very clean and comfortable -- especially the bed. The bedding was always perfectly clean and smelling fresh, and that's something we travelers appreciate! The hotel has no kitchen, but you can order food from the Whispering Winds sister hotel, which serves good food. I think in the future, it would be better if this hotel had its own kitchen, at least to prepare snacks and breakfasts, so they can be served hot. I also think the rooms could be made to be a little more cosy, namely with a rug / carpet (as the floors get cold in winters) and a lamp. I'd like to thank the staff at reception and those who provided the room service -- they were most professional and pleasant!

The rooms are clean and big with good ambience. The view is wonderful. the service was great along with the food. Overall a really nice experience.

-Location is perfect main market -Service is top class the best in Nagaland as far as I know. -rooms were neat and clean -neat nad clean quilts -very tasty food with a wide variety of options

Location/security wise it's too good Room rent they charge for GST also It will be good if they can mention that in the card which they show you at the counter because some people won't be prepared for those suprising GST amount, With the amount for the room 2k for a night I could have got a better one No offence
