Bandipur Chhen

Stayed two nights here, and wished we could have stayed longer. This hotel is on the main drag of Bandipur, centrally located. The people who work there are super nice (which is important to me), the breakfast was basic, but tasty, and the room did the trick. The bathrooms in Nepal (for some reason) tend to be a bit funky, and this one was no exception. Water was difficult to regulate in the shower, for example. First night, a neighborhood dog kept me up for hours on end, but the second night, even though it was Holi, things quieted down rather quickly and I slept well. If I am ever in Bandipur again, I will stay here!

The guest house is run as a social enterprise with all profits given to raising money for five local schools. Its location in the middle of the main street is terrific. It has fully retained its historic rustic charm, our room on the first floor had a balcony overlooking the street. It is not luxury, but the hotel meets all basic needs, there is a comfortable bed and hot water for showering and the breakfast was one of the best we had in Nepal.|The people running the business are lovely and if we ever returned to the area, we would be more than happy to stay here again.

We had a good stay although the weather was rainy. The owner is friendly, they serve a good purpose and serve good good in the restaurant next door. |The bathroom is simpel but offers all that is nescessary. The rooms are small but have lovely terras with a view in the mainstreet

Cosy, clean, originally furnished, right in the center of Bandipur. Nice hot shower, providing amenities and good breakfast.

I could not have imagined a better place to stay in bandipur. Very nice room and the family running it is adorable and very helpful in organizing the rest of our trip. Last but not least, benefits go to 5 schools, so awesome! Thank you!

Lovely, the first balcony gives a taste of wonderland. The owner is super kind. Don't hesitate if you want to spend some times in Bandipur.

Simple but lovely accommodation in the middle of Bandipur's marvellous walking street. Great breakfast, room and bed were comfortable, nice balcony overlooking the walking street, plenty of eateries within steps, friendly, caring and informative manager. This isn't "gros luxe", but you are in a historic building and town; profit from this property aids social development in the village.

Super cosy hotel in Bandipur that offers all you need for a short stay. The rooms are clean & cosy and the breakfast is superbe (try the pancakes!). We stayed in the room on the first floor with the balcony, which offers a great view over the main street. The staff is very friendly and always happy to help.
