Cafe Active Ant Bandipur Best Organic Restaurant & Cafe

Food is great! I love the masala tea and tukha or noodle soup is good for cold weather. Relaxing view; a good place to just be with your thought while watching the mountains and birds flying around. Staff are very warm and smiling. Definitely recommended place to eat when you are in Bandipur!

Had a fantastic meal here. The momos were excellent, some of the best I've had (and I've had a lot of momos!!) the filling was tasty, the casing was good and they were steamed to perfection. I also saw them make them fresh as I was paying! I also had the noodle soup which was also very tasty

I came here three times during my stay in Bandipur -- that says a lot! The people are really nice, the food is delicious every time, and the prices are very affordable. Definitely a great spot to eat and relax. Highly recommend!

The active ant cafe is a true gem in Bandipur. It is located on the main square, but still offers a more secluded terrace with a gorgeous view in the back. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and will try to talk to your in your native tongue if they know it. They are very welcoming and the place felt like a little piece of home. They offer local Nepali food which tastes great. As they make it fresh and at the time you order, it can take some time. But I promise you, it is worth the wait. And with the calm, relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant, you will enjoy every minute.

We loved the food there, so we came back multiple times during our stay in Bandipur. The view from there is amazing and the owner of this place ist super kind and served us together with his wife. We totally recommend the veg momos and the curry and prices are really good

A true hidden gem in Bandipur. We had breakfast here with the view. Food was great. Price was reasonable. It felt like it was served by a 5-star restaurant quality. And the view was beautiful! Highly recommended!

We ordered two veg chow miens and one alou sadeko. The chow mein was very good but we will never return there as the aloo sadeko was the worst we ever had, and we have eaten this perhaps ten times during this trip to Nepal. Firstly we love spicy food and we could not even taste the spice in this. Secondly the potatoes were cold and we have always had them hot before. Last but not least the portion was miniscule and the price was the most expensive we ever had. I mentioned this to the owner and all she said was THANK YOU.

This restaurant is just beautiful and the food was absolutely yummy! We a couple of beer and a few snacks veg Momo, veg pakoras, Mustang aalu and soybean salad (sadeko... can't remember the actual name). So good. The balcony is gorgeous and the place super well decorated. Staff lovely. Recommended
