the trail to the cave is very quiet and not busy, the cave itself is extremely humid, the guide (the ticket employee) was very nice and helpful, I don't think I'd explore as much inside the cave if I was on my own.

So many bats!! The young guide was very friendly, please consider a tip to support their future endeavours (mine was improving his English to work overseas). Apparently there are swimming holes during the monsoon season so that would be interested to experience as well. I walked down from Bandipur on a well-kept path, then continued to the main road and took the cable car back up. Nice little outing.

The cave is awesome I would definitely recommend it if you have a morning free! The guides are knowledgeable and keep you safe.

An amazing experience for me. It is mostly downhill stairs after a little hike from Bandipur. The guide and the yogiji were very nice. There is a place where it's pitch dark with not a single drop of light! Get a guide or if going solo take two light sources with you as backup. While returning I went down to Dumre and then took a bus back up to Bandipur

The cave itself is not very impressive but it's a nice walk to get there, be careful, they tried to overcharge me at the entrance, when I told them the sign says 100npr for entry and 100npr for guide, the man just said "oh you're right i forgot" It takes a bit over 1 hour to walk there from bandipur and the same to return if you are fit.

We loved this cave (200rs per person). The guide was really nice and it s amazing inside ! Bring a head lamp. The path from Bandipur is also nice.

Great hike down. A lot of stairs and sections with no railings and sone steps a bit slippery. Cave was great! Local high school student was our guide and was very friendly and supportive of me getting through the cave - my first cave experience. The cave was clean and well looked after. Sone sections there was rope to help you climb up to a different level. Not accessible for all people - the hike or the cave. Cable car nearby the very end to get back up the top if you don't want to hike back up.

I visited at about 8.45am, and whilst it wasn't formally open, the gate was open and they sold me a ticket. There were no guides to hire though, so I was just shown in and pointed in the direction to explore. I had a head torch. Spent about 40 mins inside, lots of bats (and midges). The yogi turned up as I was exploring inside.....
