Customer Reviews & Testimonials

We really loved the gallery wall with old pictures of kathmandu, it's a nice touch to the place. Food was good too. The garlic naan we ordered felt kinda off because it was crisp and broke into chips, wasn't bad to taste but the texture felt unusual for naan. Everything else was fine.

Stepping into this place feels like a journey back to the '90s Hindi movie era. The vintage vibes and thematic decor create a nostalgic charm that's hard to resist. From the ambiance to the details, it's a delightful homage to a bygone cinematic era. A unique experience for those who appreciate the magic of '90s Bollywood.

Best punjabi/ Indian place. Not a cheap one though. Have been this place so many time and my favorites here are Tandoori chicken, lassi and madras coffee. Other food are worth it too not forgetting the biryani. I like the unique set up and don't worry for winter as they will provide the heaters. Ample parking space available too with a nice team.

It's a OK place.....food not that great. Ordered starters as fish amritsari which was smelling, chicken Tikka which was average, Main course as mutton roganjosh actually oversalted felt that the chef has lost passion of tasting food before it leaves the kitchen, paneer was decent though and biryani was nicely presented but tasted ok, as it was a pan fried biryani which is not a style of making biryani but pilaf.....decent environment and average taste for the prices charged to consumers.

Very authentic Punjabi restaurant feel with chic interiors. They also had a gas heater near our seat to keep us warm. Server was polite. During our 1 hr 30 minutes of dining experience, we were the only people in the entire restaurant at the peak dinner time. I feel sympathetic towards the restaurant and its owner. They've invested quite a bit in the restaurant's interior design. We got naan and saag paneer. The dishes took about an hour to arrive. The wait was excruciating because we were the only customers. Naan was well done. The paneer didn't taste fresh. And the dish wasn't as spicy as I was expecting from a Punjabi dhaba. The prices are quite high for Kathmandu. They might be able to get more customers if they lowered the prices.

Let's be honest.... I really didn't knew this place existed until April 16 2018. Later I came up to know this place when one of my colleague referred for Indian food and tastes. Its just wall from outside, but reality stays inside and the ambience is good. Well I belong to a working class and one day on office we planned to party and "the suggestion" was this place. Fine we went to order food at 9:30 PM. We ordered : 1. 1Murg patiyala chicken curry(eventually not made) 2. 1 Kadai Panir 3. 7 Naans 4. 1 Masala Chicken curry 5. 1 Tandoori chicken Waited half an hour and drank one coke, then everything is set to go. Paying the bill I paid 3400NPR. And only thing I remember is that both curry all had curd and some salt and all taste dead. May be due to high price range? Not satisfactory results for the money you pay.

I recently ordered a substantial meal from this restaurant, spending a significant amount of about 8240 NPR. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite the hefty order, I was surprised to find an additional delivery fee of Rs 80, a mere fraction of the total cost. The delivery method via a third-party service was inconvenient and unexpected. Moreover, the delivery was delayed by about half an hour, and when the food finally arrived, it was disappointingly cold. The roti, which should ideally be soft, was unexpectedly crusty, almost like chips - making it challenging to enjoy. The rice, too, suffered from the prolonged delivery time, ending up hard instead of the expected warmth and softness. This further added to the overall dissatisfaction with the entire dining experience. The packaging was disappointing, with food clumsily wrapped in tin foil secured with rubber and plastic. This compromised the presentation and raised concerns about hygiene and safety. Considering the substantial amount spent, these issues were horrible.

Food here is delicious. Rest is pathetic. Waiters seems disorganized. We had to wait for hour to get our food. Management is missing from picture. Order received was incomplete. We had asked earlier if we can pre order but was informed it was not needed and any order will not take more than 20minute's to prepare. Very dissapointed.
