The best thing about this place is the menu and the rich taste you find in every dish. Their menu features distinctive cuisines from the different regions of Nepal. You will be definitely surprised to see food on your plate from the past. Pickles are priceless. I recommend everything from starters to desserts. Pan roasted pork and oil peanut sauce noodle should not be missed. You will just love the food just by seeing and your eyes will eat first.

Great garden dinner here under a pomelo tree. This restaurant offered a lot of choices that went beyond the typical dal-bhat offerings--a lot of regional variety. Well-prepared food. Definitely recommend the thukpa (pork with homemade noodles).

Raithaane has moved to a new location at Kupondole within Hotel next door premises. I like the space much better than the last one in terms of ease of getting there. The place is non pretentious and serves you dishes that is made in different culture of Nepal and few inspiration from the world. Each of the dishes has a story and will tell you the origin of the food along with how it was eaten. So, when you are there, don't just go there for the food but also to hear the rich heritage of food. The dishes might not suit your palate however you are eating almost how different cultures used to have it.

Amazing flavors and concept. Happy I was able to have this unique food experience. I thought the prices were a touch high, but fair considering the taste and quality - and I left with a full stomach! Really delicious and enjoyed the house brewed ginger beer. Highly recommend this place!
