Taste Home Restaurant

I had heard many great reviews about Taste Home Restaurant, with people praising its food quality and flavors. Naturally, my expectations were quite high, and I was eager to experience it for myself. When I finally got the opportunity to visit, I tried a couple of dishes to see if it lived up to the hype. The restaurant has a simple, local feel with an average ambience. It's not overly fancy, but it provides a decent and comfortable space for dining. The service was fairly good, with the staff being polite and attentive. As for the food, it was good, but it didn't quite meet my high expectations. While the flavors were nice, I found them to be somewhat ordinary compared to what I had anticipated based on the reviews. Perhaps my expectations were set too high, but I was hoping for something more exceptional. Overall, it was a decent dining experience--neither amazing nor disappointing. If you're looking for a straightforward, no-frills meal, this place might work for you. However, if you're expecting something extraordinary, you might find it to be just average.

Located right in the same lane as Ekantakuna, this restaurant truly lives up to its name, 'Home Taste.' The flavors are just like home, bringing comfort to your palate. Highly recommend trying their momo and pork chilly

This is definitely a hidden gem! It is a small but a cute restaurant. I loved the food here, the momo was so juicy and tender, the alu dum with bhujiya literally reminded me of my school days when we used to have it for lunch! However, the pork chilly could definitely use some work and there should be an option to adjust the spice level as it was very spicy! Overall the experience was good, the service was fast so definitely recommended!

Tasty food with a many regulars visiting often. The pangra fry and aloo dum are flavorful, and the juicy pork momos are a must-try. It's usually busy, but the food is always worth it!

The aludum did not tickle the tastebuds as it shud. Having spent my early school days in Kalimpong I think I do know what a real "aludum thukpa" is supposed to taste like and same goes for the momo and other similar items on the menu. Gets kinda crowded starting 6PM. Service is a bit laggy as they only have a single person to wait all of the tables.

Local place with food that tastes very local, now i understand why it's called taste home. Momo varieties with some really good snack options like "pangra fries" are very good. Ya there is no parking though

This is kinda restaurant with a pure nepali flavour from ambience , decorations to the food taste. They are really known for their mouth watering taste of Momos, and those delicious chowmeins. I this place is a must try. The prices are very reasonable and service quality is nice. The owner prakash dai is very friendly. Please dont forget to see their wall decorations.

We had Buff steam MoMo, Chicken Da Pao and Buff Shaphyale, all items were tasty but the serving time is too long. Food and quantity was good. Waited for almost 30-45 minutes for these 3 items. Food: Service:
