If you want normal Bengali food, then it's very good restaurant for you. Highly recommended. Cheap and best.

the Kadhai Paneer was rotten. The waiter was debating and asking other customers if the food had gone bad . Biryani was good but they also included 2 water bottles in the bill when only 1 was ordered and used which I think is very cheap on their side in order to make up for the refund of the paneer. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The floor was also not clean and the cuttlery was also brought 5 minutes later the food arrived.

Nice rooms with a balcony as well. We got a good deal during our stay, obviously not during the peak season. The food was good also, and the sea shore was 5 minutes stroll from the hotel. I felt an air-conditioned room lesser than 5 minutes of walk from sea shore was a good bargain from having it on the marine drive. The staff were very courteous and they do help to keep the rooms clean throughout the day, I really appreciate the way they were approachable.

Very Pleasent Stay at Hotel Sonar Tori, Puri near Swargadwar Sea Beach. Its just behind the Puri Hotel at Gopal-Ballav Road, 2min walking distance from the sea beach. The service staffs and the cleaning staffs are also polite and active. They always respond to the call though it's 6am or 9pm for cleaning room or to solve any issue. They also change bedsheet, pillow covers every day. Also its to be mentioned that the Restaurant namely "Gondhoraj", situated in the basement of the Hotel is excellent and reasonable. The price has been hiked in between our stay for puja vacation, but their foods are awesome. We ordered the tea also in morning and evening everyday for its quality.

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel, double bed room was spacious and bed was large enough to accommodate 3 adults. Hotel staff was courteous and polite and food was good with reasonable price. Overall good experience.location good just 2 mins walking from beach behind puri hotel but no rooms have sea view.stayed for 3 nights during christmas 2018

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Sonar Tori during 22 nd - 25 th February 2020. The hotel staffs were very polite and friendly. The hotel is approx 150 Mts away from the Golden beach. The restaurant is also very good. We were amazed by the food quality and quantity. It was very tasty. The cleanliness of the room was okay. Everything was okay. Only 1 negetive point. We couldn't find any working channel on the TV. Overall we were very pleased with hotel Sonar Tori. Will definitely book this hotel for our future stays.

Hotel is nice, , has a parking space too Food is lovely, reasonable price, hygienic But the building need bit maintenance as there r many cracks and damps in the wall Location is also nice Reception was nice but they lack staff , like there were no person to take the luggage to room at check in I booked a 4 bedder room. Room was large enough but bathroom was very small rest everything was fine, I had a good time there

The hotel is good. Bathroom are dirty, not clean. The manager is well behaved but other room guys are useless. For me the fan was not working, they changed it. But they didn't clean the dirt that fell from the fan. They just gave the broom and went away. A bloody shameless act in a hospitality industry. I had to clean it myself. But the food is good. What you see and what you get can be different.
