Hailing from Amritsar, I encountered a family selling Patty kulchas, despite them not being local. It's surprising to see their business thriving, considering kulcha is a traditional Amritsari dish. The space itself is cramped, but they manage to provide quick service. However, as a critic, I have to state that this kulcha lacks the authentic Amritsari touch. It's clear that the essence of the Amritsari kulcha is being commercialized. While this place is popular on social media, as a local, I can confidently say that Amritsar boasts numerous authentic kulcha spots that truly represent the city's culinary heritage.

The shops opens at 7:30 am and we were the first guests in. My partner is vegan and they were able to accommodate her with the Amritsari kulcha and the garlic kulcha. He specifically didn't use ghee and used oil instead. He prepared a separate dough for her which didn't use ghee for the kulchas. Finding a vegan friendly kulcha is best impossible in Amritsar, but they went above and beyond to accommodate her. (I'm guessing since we were the first ones in it wasn't much of a hassle.) I tried the regular ghee prepared patty kulcha and the garlic kulcha, it was absolutely delicious. Possible the best kulchas I've had. . They have a self serve Chana masala and tamarind/onion chutney. They did add paneer as garnish but they brought a separate bowl of Chana for her. The owner is very sweet and accommodating and I would highly recommend those wanting a vegan kulcha to go visit this first thing when they open

Not capable of handling even 4 tables. Mismanagement. Only the quality of food doesn't matter. Your service and management plays a vital role. You failed in service and management. We ordered 2 CC Naan and 1 AK. At that time no other table was occupied. We were alone. They served the order in 15 mins which is okay as they mentioned. We immediately ordered 1 PK so that by the time we finish our order, we get the next one. Now the mismanagement started. After our 2nd order, 4 more tables got occupied. Out of them 2 tables ordered other stuff including PK. After 15 mins iInstead of serving our order, he served PK to another table. When we asked about it he said our order is the next one. We again started waiting for another 15 mins. Meanwhile he smartly took our tea/coffee order and served it which we were planning to have after meals. After 15 mins he again served the PK to another table. When I objected he again said that our order is the next one. Then I raised my voice and still after 15 mins I got my PK. He totally spoiled our breakfast. We have waited for more than 30 minutes for their mismanagement and their greediness. If you are visiting them make sure no table was occupied and if you are dying to eat at this shop make sure to have 2-3 hours to waste for their mismanagement.

Best food I had in Amritsar! I highly recomand, it's in a small street but don't be afraid to venture there. They welcome you very good, the owner gave good recommandations on what to order. The place was clean and it looks like locals like it a lot. You have multiple choices on the menu, everything seems good so it was hard to choose. The owner asked if he could take a pic in front of the restaurant and put us on the instagram account, he did ask in a very polite way and I appreciate that a lot! Prices are also very good, and the food was served fast.

The besssttt Kulcha chole around Amritsar!!! Absolutely delicious and must try!! They add generous amount of ghee and it's so so tasty. Add a lassi too to complete your order, for a full meal/Punjabi breakfast experience!

Landed here basis some good research to ensure we don't end up at restaurants that are overhyped. Happy to say that this was a great find. Small place nestled between alleys and you might feel that you are going the wrong way till you actually reach there. Very warm and hospitable place run by 2nd and 3rd generation. loved the food, amazing quantity and absolutely fresh. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We had breakfast at this hotel on recommendation of an auto wala. The restaurant is in a small lane. But no worries, you can have best kulcha here with lots of ghee and butter. We had mix veg. , galic and paneer kulcha. All were good. Chenna was also good. They provide a reasonably fast service. The staff are very helpful and polite. In short it is a best place in Amritsar to have yummy kulcha.

We had the best Spl kulchas, and both the sweet and salty lassis were fantastic! At just 580, we left feeling completely satisfied. Although the shop is located on a crowded street, the unique flavors make it worth the visit.
