Tawey Wale Amritsar

It's a small, cozy restaurant in the market adjacent to the Golden Temple. One gets Punjabi and South Indian food here. The food is above average, and service is prompt. It caters to breakfast only in the morning, which comprises mainly Kulchas. You get lunch and dinner also here, which is simple and tasty.

Very small restaurant run by hard working ladies. The taste of the ginger tea is the best in Amritsar. Their food items all freshly prepared in front of you with homely taste. Lassi is very good. Do not go by the look of the restaurant as the look may not be appealing. But the food taste is great. We need to encourage such hardworking and genuine people rather than running after the over hyped Bhrawan da dhaba that has lost its taste and politeness. The restaurant is at walking distance from golden temple.

The simple Amritsari Kulcha with Chole was simply Wow!!! The service was a little slow but the food taste totally was the wait. Lassi was also excellent. Highly recommended when near Golden Temple.

I visited Virsa restaurant with my family for lunch. It was the amazing food and super service. The food was very delicious and also they have different types of cuisines and staff were very friendly. So, it was very good experience for me.
