Back in 1912, just a short walk from the Golden Temple, Bharawan Da Dhaba was born -- a humble eatery started by Bishan Singh, feeding pilgrims and locals with comforting, home-style Punjabi food. This is where tradition lives on. Their Chole Kulche is pure soul food. Spicy, earthy chole -- slow-cooked in rich masalas -- served with kulchas that are crisp outside, soft inside, and brushed with ghee that melts into every bite. Add some chilled raita, and you're all set. Just one bite and you're smiling -- the kind of food that makes you pause & go in for another spoonful without thinking. Pro Tip: Order the thali. Add extra onions. Soak your kulcha deep in that chole. And don't you dare skip the tall, chilled glass of lassi. Trust me -- this is the kind of food that stays with you. Near Town Hall, Amritsar.

Very slow service, even after requesting 4-5 people they didn't clean the table. Only when their manager instructed them, did they paid attention to us. We kept asking about how to order but again no one listened. I understand that they are extremely popular and busy but I expected the basic decency of exchanging few words like we're running busy and we'll take your order as soon as possible. That's all that was needed. They sucked in their hospitality and service which was really disappointing because I was very eager to try out this famous place. The food was up to the mark but my experience had been totally ruined by then. I really think they could improve on this aspect. I don't want future visitors who are here for the first time to experience the same. Hope this reaches the manager.

I have heard alot about this restaurant but I got the Chance to visit it for the first time on this trip. Experience was amazing, everything we ordered was lipsmacking. Parking can be an issue here otherwise no cons here. Even in weekdays you might have to wait a bit for your turn during Dinner time. Way better than Kesar Dhaba. Large, crowded, decently maintained restaurant. A little pricey compared to the rest of Amritsar, but also larger and far more refined than most places in the city. Food is decent, but service can take a moment due to the crowd.

If you're in Amritsar, don't miss Bharawan Da Dhaba. Their North Indian thali (dal makhni, paneer, raita, laccha paratha) was a treat, especially the dal makhni made in desi ghee that tastes so rich and full of flavours, The paneer curry had just the right spice. Also loved their Amritsari kulcha it was soft, crispy, and packed with stuffing. Authentic taste in every bite

This place was unhygienic, and the food was terrible, especially considering the price. The service was also poor. I would not recommend this place; there are better options available. Don't be fooled by its history or popularity.

Manchurian gravy was full of water Khdayi panner , over salty Packaged bottle Similar to tap water. Butter nan served cold had to send back to reheat Enjoy
