Grain by elgin : Pan-Asian European

June 2025- was in Amritsar for 3days and visited Grain for a meal everyday. The Sunday breakfast was a new revelation and it blew my mind. I have been to Grain regularly for the last 9 months. The food and service continues to be exemplary. Special kudos to Ashish. Highly recommended the vegan chocolate cake.

Went here for a family brunch, and this was my experience - 1. Got a table reserved in advance, as I'd heard that it's hard to find one here sometimes on a walk-in. 2. The ambience, at first glance, is quite rich and upscale. The restaurant/bar doubles as a clothing/accessories boutique, with some charming options on display. 3. They have a lovely food menu, along with some nice options for drinks. 4. All of the above would have been very worth it, if not for the Very disappointing food. We ordered a turkish platter, sushi, bruschetta and drinks, all of which was on-par at best. 5. Considering how expensive this place is compared to the quality they serve, I feel like it isn't worth all the fuss. Wouldn't really recommend it, unless you're just in for some overpriced drinks.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Grain by Elgin, and while it didn't entirely win me over, I can appreciate its luxurious charm. Ambiance-wise, it truly delivers. The upscale atmosphere is perfect for special occasions or business dinners. However, the food was a different story. I ordered the pasta, which unfortunately, was bland and lacked depth of flavor. Drinks were good. While it might not have been my cup of tea, I can see how it would appeal to others. The service was attentive, and the presentation of the dishes was impeccable. Overall, I'd recommend this to those who value luxury ambiance and are willing to pay a premium for it. However, if you're looking for exceptional cuisine, you might want to explore other options.

When we go to places like these we already expect higher rates but it does not matter because 1). Of the quality 2). The platter is wholesome and sufficient. However, here quality was good BUT QUANTITY WAS LESS. The portion was not sufficient. We however enjoyed our overall experience as the ambience and food was good. However at the time of paying the cheque, there was a 10%Service Charge that was levied without asking. When the manager was asked he said that it's optional. Then why was I not asked or informed????? They did refund the service charge amount but it was a damper......

Mandeep, our brista made the most lovely drink, a luscious vietnamese coffee, it was very decadent. having a gluten allergy, this was THE BEST place i have visited in India, the service was absolutely incredible; manager (Ajay) and chef himself both came to the table to adjust the menu to my allergies! can't thank enough for the devine experience - visited both days on our 2 day trip to Amritsar! the bao buns had us speechless, can't recommend enough. all staff were welcoming, Ashish our waiter made sure that everything was to our likely and kept tending to our every need. thank you!

Had an amazing experience at Grain by Elgin! The food was absolutely delicious. I started with the Munchow Soup, which had the perfect balance of flavors to kick things off. The Chilli Basil Chicken as a starter was a winner too -- crispy, spicy, and just the right amount of heat. For the main course, I went with the Udon Kee Mao, and wow, it was definitely the highlight of the meal. It's a must-try -- packed with flavors and perfectly cooked! Big shoutout to Nitesh, our waiter, who made the experience even better. He was super courteous, always smiling, and attentive without being overbearing. Great service to match the great food! Highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for flavorful food and top-notch hospitality.

Grain by Elgin is an absolute gem in Amritsar! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting ambiance that sets the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The decor is elegant and modern, making it perfect for everything from a casual brunch to a romantic dinner or a business meeting. The food is exceptional--I tried the Mediterranean Bowl and Mushroom Kra Pao and both dishes were bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. Every bite felt like a celebration of carefully curated ingredients. And the Grain Fruity Sangria mocktail? Refreshing, fruity, and the perfect complement to the meal. What truly stood out was the service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making sure every detail is just right. Fast food delivery and their thoughtful recommendations made the whole experience seamless. If you're in Amritsar and looking for a place where great food meets a memorable atmosphere, Grain by Elgin is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back and try more from their diverse menu!

it was a nice experience visiting grain by elgin. the european food i was craving for was finally found here on my trip to amritsar. i was very happy seeing pho, tofu, salad's option, Avocado toast in the menu. The cocktails were also good but a little strong i feel for a Cocktail but i think it's how people prefer it in amritsar. And the service ohhh... very good!!! it made my evening but the Tiramisu was disappointing. otherwise very clean, classy, modern, decent place to visit whether for a date or with family/friends. 100% recommended if you like to get served
