Sanjha Chulha

Came here for dinner. Didn't have much expectations. The place is extremely unhygienic. I found a big stone in Palak Paneer. God knows what else gets into the food in the kitchen at the back. The waiter was friendly though, but it didn't matter. I would never come here again, I urge anyone considering to visit this to think ten times before stepping in.

Tried First time But Experiance was Wonderful. We Ate Butter Garlic Kulcha and Chur-2 Kulcha, Amazing taste and Well prepared and Cooked. Had Sweet Lassi Too was very Yummy.

Kulcha was very hard and chane was not completely cooked and jar of water was very unhygienic.

Clean and delicious restaurant! Seeking refuge from the heat and the busy streets of Amritsar, we found this small, but stylish restaurant in side street to lawrence road. The staff was very friendly, but only a couple of people were able to communicate in english. We had some very delicious lunch in a nicely ventilated restaurant. I have visited this place when I was vacationing in Amritsar. This place serves the worst food ever. The place was dirty and service was very slow. I had ordered masala dosa and they have only put onion in the filling, It tasted disgusting.

#amritsardiaries My top choice for Amritsari Kulcha remains Monu Kulcha Hut but that's situated almost at outskirts of city and is extremely crowded. Besides seating isn't that upmarket for family visits.... so my second best choice as always remains Sanjha Chulha Amritsar situated at the most happening Lawrance Road area. It has air-conditioned seating with reasonably acceptable hygiene and overall good package with excellent fast service. We ordered our usual favourite Aaloo Pyaaz Kulcha and additionally ordered Mix Kulcha. Both are flawlessly perfect with flaky and crisp texture. Filling is adequate and flavourful. Channa are mild and well cooked without any excessive addition of Soda Bicarbonate. Chatani is well balanced without being over spicy. It's a great kulcha overall and is highly recommended. We also got few Kulcha packed for Delhi and kept enjoying them for next few days by reheating them. Not as good as the freshly served ones but still better than all other options available in Delhi NCR. The last 3 pictures are of reheated kulchas clicked back home at Delhi. Tips to follow if you plan to get Amritsari Kulcha packed.... #Ask vendor not to apply butter on top #Cool kulcha and channa in open condition to reach room temperature before sealed packing them #Avoid packing Chatani for being liquidy... it tends to leak and gets spoiled very quickly #Store kulcha and chana in refrigerator (Not freezer) #Reheating tip... heat each kulcha for 20 seconds each side in microwave followed by roasting on each side over low gas flame. #Apply butter on top after completion of reheating #Heat channa in microwave Bon Appetit

Always it's my favourite one. I visited amritsar for a day only after 7yrs from mumbai and it is the one of my visit list. When i used to stay in Amritsar, i often visit this place. So crispy kulchas, very courteous and timely service. Very affordable rate. Must visit place.

Had the best food here. The famous amritsari kulcha served with delicious chanas is a must for all the food lovers The famous sweet lassi with butter and malai gives mouth watering experience here. A full filling meal. The kulchas are soo crispy and filled with potatoes filling. The food served here is really delicious and even the sweet dishes are amazing here. The restaurant maintains a good hygiene and the staff is really polite A must visit for all
