We went for dinner, service is quite slow and food tastes average. Desserts are quite nice.

Always love their food, authentic taste - great price . We ordered Honey chilli potato ( loved it !!! ) and paneer and daal they're always a hit !! Best part is Basant special ice cream that we've been loving since decade ! Loved it overall. Good family place to dine as well take out !

Today, I visited Basant for their Navratri Vrat Thali, and to be honest, it was one of the best I've ever had. Each section of the thali was well-organized, and the food was absolutely delicious. However, the kheer was served hot, which was a bit unexpected--I'd have preferred it chilled. Overall, I would rate the thali 4 out of 5. It's a bit on the expensive side, costing 505, but it's definitely worth it, especially if the kheer were cold. What really stood out to me was the hygiene and cleanliness at the restaurant, which I would give a perfect 5 out of 5. They provided Dettol liquid soap for handwashing--something I haven't seen at other restaurants--and I appreciated that attention to cleanliness. However, one thing they could improve is how they handle the tissue papers. I noticed several packages of tissues had been opened and left out in the open, which didn't seem very sanitary. They should keep them sealed until ready for use. Apart from that, the staff was very genuine, soft-spoken, and maintained everything in the best way possible. Overall, it was a great experience!

1st they denied eazy diner booking. I had ordered Kesar Pista Ice Cream Shake but got some ?? shake with no ice cream, which was good. Recommended veg biriyani & boondi raaita both were disaster! Very very much disappointed! Honey chilli potato was just ok. Kesar pista icecream was good. Very much crowdy. Bit costly. Not all food was worth the price! Recently went to order Cheese Chilly (aka chilli Paneer) but it was all mediocre, nothing special. All hype. Interesting is the bill, they had given me around 300 discount on Paneer of 800 rupees! Really? Btw who pays 800 for such paneer?

These were the highly recommended items on zomato and swiggy, and trust me these are the worst taste food I have ever eaten in my life. I will never recommend this place to anyone visiting Ludhiana.
