Good ambience and excellent service. While the food was tasty it wasn't always what it claimed to be. The so called Kakori Kabab was nothing but seekh kabab topped with some fried garlic. Not the soft succulent melt in you mouth version made famous by the renowned cooks of the Nawabs of Lucknow. The Prawn Newburg was close enough but the pizzas appeared to be made on ready made bases bought from the local market- not the thin crust pizzas we are accustomed to at this restaurant.

This place is awesome on all parameters- food , ambiance, service and the Multi- cuisine menu they offer . We have been visiting this place from the last so many years and every new dish you try is just out of the box. The precision in taste and food layout is unmatchable in the city . Every visit, there's something new to try from the menu... and they have not failed any time . I am a die hard fan of their lasagne, pasta and *Apple Pie* - a must have from the desserts list . Truly a family place with a good vibe in the heart of the city . Pray it flourishes all the more

we are visiting from the uk and we came here with family by looking at pictures but were highly disappointed by the service and quality of food. we had called to reserve a table, we arrived and they told us they didn't have our reservation despite it being on their list at the front desk. once they gave us a table it was outside even after asking for an inside table. the food took 50 minutes to arrive and after that the naan was like papad, and pizza made me feel ill. the ambience isn't great too, the music being played is the same 10 cover songs on repeat. staff are so rude and treated the people inside/ people who made a reservation much nicer, there is definitely some classism going on here as the people who wore fancy clothes were treated much nicer. overall really disappointing experience.

Had a wonderful experience at Bistro 226! The ambience was cozy and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious -- every dish was full of flavor. Highly recommended for a perfect dining experience!

Chef is not available from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Indian food and tandoor items are not available at this time. I ordered a refresher drink which was served with 90% ice and 10% some flavour. The food tasted not that good either. Service is very slow. 10% extra service charge was levied without informing any customer and CGST and SGST was also added to the service.
