Sagar Ratna

This South Indian restaurant is located in Maharaja Regency Hotel, on the first floor and is not having any ramps or lifts etc for physically challenged people. Food quality is average. Since ambience is excellent, ladies come here for kitty parties.

Its OK. A bit hyped. Mediocre. ? Rameshwaram dosa was good. But the masala was not upto the mark, still lack the preparation. Coconut chutney & Sambar:; taste is just below average, seems they don't know how to make it. It's ok for just one time visit. Still went with family on my 4th visit. No improvement. 6pm order of Puri Chole, the all puri were fried in oil which thye were using since morning! Disgusting. Later I told the manager while paying bill, their answer is as usual idiocy. We were only one of 2-3 table guests at that time. Non attentive staff. Puri chole and onion masala dosa, I returned the water bottle. Surprised to see the Chand Mian idol inside the restaurant(didn't take the pics).

Located in a big, majestic Maharaja Regency. Very royal infrastructure and interiors... A beautiful, warm and holistic environment inside the restaurant. They have really maintained the quality of interiors very well. Food served is upto the taste marks and the service is also humble. Overall a great experience to spare time for a meal there with friends n family.

One of the best Places for family dinner scenes. Tried fried masala Idli it was good tangy with a unique taste & i wanted to try some different dosa so ordered ONION PANEER masala dosa it was also very nice. A bit too heavy though.

Food is very good. Prices are on higher side but it compensates due to ambience. Rawa dosa is excellent, its a must try.

Masala Dosa is Good, Mixed Uttapam was pathetic, oil used to make uttapam was giving very smelly taste. I complained to Manager but no use. He didn't responded, Mineral water is too costly Rs. 85 water bottle

Lovely Place. It is inside Maharaja Regency, near Aarti Chowk, Ludhiana. I went with my family. The ambience is good and the staff is courteous. We ordered one Idli, Mix Veg Uttapam and Rava Masala Dosa. The portion size for each item was more than enough for one. The taste was authentic south indian. All costed 1156. I enjoyed a lot. Would recommend this place if you want to have south indian someday.
