Chennai Maratha

I recently visited this South Indian restaurant and tried a few dishes. Overall, the food was quite good, with some standout flavors. * Tawa Pulav (4/5) - A well-spiced and flavorful dish with a nice balance of masala and veggies. Could have been slightly better, but still very enjoyable. * Rasam Idli (4.5/5) - One of the highlights! The tangy, spicy rasam paired perfectly with the soft idlis, making it a comforting and satisfying dish. * Ghee Podi Idli (3.5/5) - Decent but not the best. While the ghee and podi mix had good flavors, it could have been more balanced or had a stronger punch. Overall, a good experience with authentic flavors. Would definitely go back to try more!

It is a great spot in Pathankot if you love South Indian food with a spicy twist! I recently visited and had a really good experience. The dosa was crispy and perfectly made, and the sambar had that authentic tangy-sweet South Indian taste. Chutneys were fresh, especially the coconut one - bilkul South wali feel aayi. I also tried their idli and vada, both were soft and tasty. The place is neat and hygienic, and the service was quick and polite. Rates vi reasonable ne, so it's worth it. If you're in Pathankot and craving something different from the usual North Indian food, definitely try Chennai Maratha. Ek vaar zaroor try karo - swaad aa jaega!

Had read quite good reviews of Chennai Maratha, so decided to go out there on a family dinner. It's a great place for good South Indian and Maharashtrian cuisine. We tried Onion Rawa Dosa, Butter Masala Dosa, Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, Dabeli, Parotta Korma, Filter Coffee and Cold Coffee. Everything was delectable and well prepared. Service is quite fast and prices are also pocket friendly. One area they need to improve upon is their customer dealing. Staff can be a bit more humble and courteous.

Food was good. We ordered pau-bhaji and different types of dosa's. It wasn't very spicy. The kids loved it. Mocktails are also good. We definitely recommend it for family outings.

A great place for dinner and some snacks. We ate rawa dosa and a south indian dish Dabeli with caramel coffee. All the things were tasty. I like the place. It was calming. Service was fast . Staff is very good and polite.

For personal attention of the owner. Had visited your outlet 2 months ago and had noticed that all the fire extinguishers were expired. Called up the manager there and had personally guided him regarding the importance of serviceability of extinguishers. Had visited again recently, the extinguishers are still expired and no one even cared to change it. Highly disappointing !!!

I love this place. Food is fantastic. If you want taste real authentic South Indian food, must visit this place.
