A decent place for reasonably priced South Indian and even North Indian and Chinese food on the highway. Sagar Ratna is a famous chain of vegetarian South Indian and multi-cuisine. We had dosas - masala and paper masala dosa and veg chowmein and stuffed aloo kulcha. The dosas were good but chutneys were cold. The sambar could have been better, as also the aloo kulcha. The chowmein was quite tasty and had a generous portion. The service was average at best. There were quite a lot of tables occupied even though it was about 930 pm. We stopped here for a quick dinner and found the hotel that it is attached to as quite a family friendly and good place to stop over for food and perhaps even for stay. Although we had only had dinner and left Hotel Ashish has a normal fine dine restaurant and Sagar Ratna attached to it. The restaurant offers variety of veg and non veg food although slightly overpriced. The restrooms were quite clean and hygienic.

The interiors are good. The location though on the highway, is difficult to reach. The quality and taste of food is substandard and if you are a South Indian then you will feel cheated. The staff has been trained to give diluted chutneys if you want some additional. The staff carries a gloomy face which is infectious. If you are with family or friends and want to have a good time with good food then it is not at all recommended.

Food as expected is good. Ambience is pleasant though lights are off hence a bit dark . We tried para tha curd . There were no customers except for us at 1pm. Prices are a bit high for the location and since there are hardly any customers. Ample parking space in adjacent plot also. You have to go to the inner lane on highway to reach restro.

Good environment... But I was a bit disappointed for service.. I ordered a dosa and a noddles... Dosa came after 20 mins but the noddles didn't come after 35 mins... Service needs to be improved...

Had a party over there, but the quality as well as the quantity of food was poor. The veg items were average whereas the non veg items were below average. The portions were also very small and seldom repeated. Staff were polite but the experience was

Takes lot of time to bring your order. Nearly 45 min waiting time. Food is simply awsm. Don't order from rava coz they are like papaad . Dahi bhalle are taste. Food quality high grade. Nice sitting.

Onion Rava dosa has to have onions in them!! Not just a hint of them. Curd rice was bland. Vadas almost burnt. Rasam, half a cupful. Everything oily and mediocre. The usherer at the parking zeroed in to demand money. Sagar Ratna? Hardly. Thoroughly dissapointed.
