Shagun Dhaba

The table wasn't clean(cleaned after requesting them two times) and the floors were littered and weren't clean. Dal fry was ok nothing special and the kadhai paneer didn't tasted like kadhai paneer rather a cream panner with veggies (also they gave us some complimentary lassi)

Though Shagan Dhaba is situated on the left side of byepass road of Ropar Chandigarh road. Enough quantity in one plate of Dal or vegetable serve by them, three persons can eat. Chapati rate is little bit high according to size of chapati. Good place, AC Hall, service is good,rates are genuine. The main plus point is, they supply Lassi free of cast, which is good for health in summer season. Having good parking. Good for breakfast,Lunch & dinner. In breakfast One Aloo pratha tandoori with butter, cost only Rs. 60/- with Lassi, free of cost. Washroom available for gents & ladies. Good place for family. I give them 9 points out of 10.

Best Dhaba food on the route to Manali. Though it is a little detour, the food was worth it. Not great, but I would say best Dhaba lunch on the route. It has Ac hall so overall hygenie was good. They also gave complimentary buttermilk. Worth taking the detour.

Good dhaba to serve north Indian food both veg and non veg, tea, coffee, shakes, snacks, burgers, sandwiches on the Ropar mohali bypass. Open 24 hrs. Food quality is good. Has its own separate toilets for ladies and gents. Adjacent to it is party hall of same Shagun Group. There is one shop outside selling toffees etc. Has recreational activities for kids on payment.

We were on our way from Manali when decided to have a quick lunch. We decided to stop at BS Dhabha. As there was no divider in the road for this one we tried to take the u-turn for it at the traffic lights but bang on the traffic lights we found Shagun Dhaba. As there were more vehicles parked here we changed our mind to visit this one. And they didn't make us repent upon our decision. They have a very big hall where tables and chairs are placed and you can sit anywhere you like. The service is very very quick. Their homemade chicken curry was just heaven. We ordered half a plate and had to confirm twice with the waiter that it was not full. The dal makhani was very good. The fish KFC style was yummy too. They will serve you with fresh complimentary lassi before the food and I suggest you not to drink it before the meals as you will left with very little appetite for the main dishes. The parking is ample and free. Bathrooms are outside the dhabha. We enjoyed our meal and will keep on coming here for sure. Serendipity

I tried Chicken Malayi Tikka, honestly it was smelling so bad and when I told to the staff and he said " it smells bad to you not to us. It was very bad experience here. Very stupid attitude towards customers.
