Jay cafe

The food at Jay's Cafe is absolutely fantastic. It is Indian cooking at its best. Jay's sister served up a really delicious thali that included the most wonderful, smoky eggplant dish. I enjoyed every mouthful of every dish. I also had the best lassi I have ever had! The cafe is part of the family home and you are welcomed as if you were a family member. They are all very lovely people. I would highly recommend eating at this cafe while in Bundi.

Jay is a genuinely beautiful human! He was full of surprises and went all out to make us feel special! We had delicious thali (an assortment of dish's) in his humble cafe/home. His sister was also gracious and charming. Please to not hesitate to follow Jay up the road from the corner to his cafe, he is genuine and a gracious host! He also went the extra mile helping us the next day buying Saree's. Michelle from New Zealand!

One of the best Authentic dining experience we had in Bundi. Jay and his family went out of there way to make it a unique and special dinning experience, with surprises and amazing hospitality. The food was delicious, some of the best we have had in India. We were a group of 6 women and all had a wonderful experience. Thank you Jay and family. Highly recommend visiting.

Jay's cafe is not actually cafe. The host has kept a table on terrace. Jay is really welcoming person. He helped us for sight seeing for free. Guided us well for the places to see nearby. From Jay's place, a good view of fort is visible. Coming to food, as Indian, I felt food was not that great still it was quite costly. Lassi was 150 (it wsa the diluted shreekhand), pkaoda was 200 per plate (basen, potato, peas; quantity was good enough), the dinner thali, we did not had as we were already full due to pakode. Still the unlimited thali has puri, bhaji, dal, rice, gulabjamun and kadhi. The thali cost 300rs which is again too much for the food.

We had the most amazing lunch here. Jay, his sister and mother cooked up the most incredible thali and lassis for us. It was very possibly the best we had on our entire trip across Rajasthan. They were all so accommodating and friendly! Perfect place to come, relax and eat after wondering around the fort and palace.

If I could give Jay more than five stars I would give him more. Jay is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He has a restaurant with the best Thali we had in India. But he also recommended us what we could do in Bundi and showed us the city after we had lunch at his place. He arranged flowers, a flower necklace and some other presents for us. He is very enthusiastic anf a lot of fun to hang out with. We are so happy we met him and his family and had the best time in Bundi because of them. Thank you so much.
