Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Adarsha BS

During my family trip to Jaipur, I was searching for a good South Indian restaurant and stumbled upon this hidden gem. We entered with modest expectations, but the first bite of bisibelebath completely changed our minds. The rice dishes -- while not exactly authentic compared to what you'd find in South India -- were absolutely exquisite. The cold badam milk and fruit salad with ice cream were out of this world. Dosa and rice with sambar were quite decent too. Although the prices are on the higher side, the taste and quality more than make up for it. Some staff members were friendly, while others seemed indifferent, and the service was a bit slow. However, the ambience and food together made for a satisfying experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving South Indian flavors in Jaipur.

If you're looking for an authentic South Indian experience, this might not be the place for you. While some people may enjoy the food, those who have tasted real South Indian cuisine will find it lacking in authenticity. The flavors don't quite hit the mark, and the dishes feel more like an adaptation rather than the real thing. That being said, the service is good, and the staff is attentive. The prices are a bit on the higher side for what's offered, but the restaurant makes up for it with its ambiance. The vibes are great, making it a pleasant spot to hang out, even if the food isn't entirely satisfying. Overall, if you're here for the experience, you might enjoy it. But if you're craving genuine South Indian flavors, you may want to look elsewhere.

Truly authentic South Indian dining experience. It has unique items in the menu which are from Karnataka. The Dose here is same as the one in Bengaluru. Would highly suggest to anyone who wants to try South Indian food

The food is good and authentic but the service is not as good as expected. Staff needs to be more careful and sincere.

I wish I could give zero stars! The food was terrible and ridiculously overpriced. We couldn't even eat anything--the vada was burnt, and the Puliyodarai (Pulisaadam) was completely tasteless. Just awful. The photos we posted show exactly how we left the food untouched--it was that inedible!

If you're craving authentic South Indian cuisine or looking to experience it for the first time, this restaurant is a must-visit. The calm and inviting atmosphere sets the perfect tone for a delightful meal. The standout dish is the Thali, offering a diverse selection of flavors on one plate, allowing you to savor a variety of South Indian tastes at once. For those new to this cuisine, I highly recommend trying the dosa--crispy, flavorful, and an iconic representation of Southern India's culinary excellence. Despite the high quality of both the food and the ambiance, the prices are quite reasonable, making it a fantastic value for the experience.

If you're craving authentic South Indian flavors in Jaipur, Annapuranam is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh dosas and spices sets the tone for a flavorful experience. The ambience is simple yet clean, focusing more on food than flair -- which is exactly what you want from a true South Indian spot. I tried their Masala Dosa, Mini Idlis in Sambar, and the Filter Coffee, and everything was spot on. The dosa was crisp and golden, stuffed with perfectly spiced potato filling. The sambar was rich and flavorful, and the coconut chutney was fresh and creamy. The service is quick and polite, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic, South Indian food in the heart of Jaipur. I'll definitely be coming back!
