Chillout - Hotel & Rooftop Vegetarian Restaurant Jaipur

This is definitely one of my favorite places in India. Owned by two lovely brothers, Ajeet and Balu. You will immediately feel at home from the moment you walk in. The rooms are spacious with 24\7 hot water shower. A roof top with an amazing view, great food and great vibe all the time. These guys have understood exactly what most travelers need in a hotel/ guesthouse.

Highly recommended accommodation. The staff were incredibly helpful, the location is good for what it is, and most importantly the rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. Upon arrival the staff provide a lot of useful recommendations and how one goes about doing that. Additionally, there is a restaurant at the rooftop which has honestly one of the best foods. It's a vegetarian restaurant, the buffet only costs 350 rupees and honestly it's so worth it - loads of variety and very fresh food, different every day!

We stayed at chill out for 3 nights and it was an absolute pleasure! The rooftop is beautiful and serving up great food - (recommend the breakfast and dinner buffet)- all the guys are experts in all things jaipur and beyond and really easy to share good quality conversation. We can't wait to recommend to friends and come back to stay, eat and share next time we are here. Thankyou for a wonderful memory and the never ending lemon ginger honey teas that we desperately needed!

I am genuinely confused by the high-rating of this property. There is nothing professional about how this place is run, and this was one of the worst accommodations we stayed at in India. First of all, the rooms are a lot more run down than the photos show. The cleaner allegedly didn't show the day we checked in so the receptionist cleaned the room himself which was less than comforting. We visited the rooftop restaurant for dinner after reading the good reviews, only to find no one there except for staff and mediocre food. The most disappointing part of this stay was the following morning at breakfast, where we arrived to breakfast at 7:30 ahead of a long tour. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7, but when we arrived, they said breakfast wouldn't be available until after 8 because they were running late today. (We have stayed at hundreds of hotels around the world, and have never experienced this before.) When we raised the point that this would interfere with our pick up ahead of a busy tour, they told us to 'delay our pick up and be patient.' Obviously, we did not keep our tour waiting, and ended up not eating until 1pm that day because we did not get the breakfast included in our stay. To top this off, this was one of our more expensive stays on our month in India, and was by far the worst value for our money. Whatever they did before to get their ratings, they clearly aren't doing anymore. Or maybe, they paid for their ratings which seems more plausible.

Definitely the best hotel I stayed in Jaipur ...if not all around whole India! Fantastic team that makes you feel like at home! Quiet location. The walls in the room were decent ones which is not always a case in India so you don't hear your neighbors! Big rooms with all the essentials provided. Rooftop bar/restaurant where you can chill out... and they make really good food! But as mentioned at the very beginning - the most important "thing" in this hotel are people!

Popped in for a beer on the rooftop and stayed for a delicious buffet dinner because the vibes were so good! Big speakers playing cool beats. Meal was genuinely the BEST I have ever had and very good value (300rs) - some dishes had been made by guests at the hostel as they offer cooking lessons at 5pm... if I had more time in Jaipur would definitely do that. Can't believe it was all vegetarian and so tasty

Lovely friendly staff, with many helpful connections around the city. Grateful to have met some friends in Jaipur here! Would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Jaipur!
