We tried traditional thali containing various varieties for Rajasthani and Gujarati mix delicacies at Udaipur. They serve traditional Rajasthani thali also with separate arrangement,with carpet and cushion to give little royal feel. The cost was 599 for proper traditional Rajasthani thali and 399 for mix thali ,there was waiting due to Rajasthani thali. The thali was unlimited and taste was good. They also provide individual dishes also.

Was desperate to eat dal bhati, and our guide recommended this. He further suggested that we order 1 thali between two people since it is really heavy. Loved the food, and the service was exemplary. Being from the south, I was unsure how to eat dal bhati, the manager came and informed me on how the locals eat it...was very nice. Khichdi was very good too, as was jal jeera.

We tried rajasthani thali ...it's too good ..staff are really good and serve with smile ..food is tasty too ..my daughter really enjoyed the food ..big thanks to team 56 bhog ..wish you all the success

Food was good but lil over priced , service was slow due to little rush , nice restaurant for good veg meals clean place with good vegetarian options

As the name suggests, Chappan Bhog offers a wide variety of food across multiple cuisines--South Indian, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Chinese and more. They also have a thali system, which is perfect if you want to try a bit of everything. We went for the traditional Rajasthani thali, and it was a complete treat! It included various chutneys, dhokla, bread pakoda as starters, 7-8 types of sabzis, dal baati, chaas, rice, and a delicious kheer for dessert. The best part? It's unlimited! The food quality was really good, and the hospitality of the staff made the experience even better. The place is popular, so expect a little waiting time--but it's totally worth it. If you're around Saheliyon Ki Bari and craving a heavy, satisfying lunch, this place is highly recommended.

Nice restaurant. Don't go during peak time as there is long waiting queue during lunch and dinner peak time. Dal bati churma is delicious . They have AC as well as non Ac section. Prices are higher. They have parking but it is full most of the time. However you can park your vehicle on road.

This place is just worth the hype and a mjst visit food spot during your trip to Udaipur. Tried their Dal bati Chokha thali and absolutely loved it, every bite of it was just wow. Food took some time to arrive due to rush, but it was worth waiting for.
