THADAKAM BAKERY

I've been dining regularly at this restaurant for the past three years (mostly breakfasts). It was previously known as Thadagam Restaurant and was renamed Sri Balaji Bhavan last year. The ambience is calm and pleasant, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. There's ample parking space--enough to accommodate even 4 to 5 buses. The food is tasty and hygienic. They serve Vada Curry with set dosa and idli, and the Vada Curry is a must-try--it's one of their standout dishes. Prices are reasonable, and the overall experience is excellent. Clean and well-maintained restrooms are available for both men and women. Despite all its positives, I've often found the restaurant quite empty during my visits, which is surprising given its quality.

Stopped here for a Tea break while travelling to banglore. Sufficient space to park vehicles. There is toilet facility which helps long traveller's to get fresh.

Your typical South Indian family restaurant. Don't get me wrong here. It was not a bad experience at all. We had a dosa and idli both of which were doable. Nothing extra ordinary, above average. But in food what stood out for me was coffee. If you are here do try their coffee. It's that good. The service is prompt and the staff is very friendly. They have ample parking space too so you can park your own car. The atmosphere is ok ok. The property is situated near a lake so one row of tables offer you a decent view of the lake. Bathrooms were a bit let down. Not shady but below average. All in all a good place to stop with you family on the highway and spend some time taking rest.

We were utterly hungry by the time we reached here, there are hardly any breakfast joints on this road! The food is lovely. Idlis are soft and spongy, vadas are decent, could be more crispy, puri was excellent, pongal was very soothing. Sambar was thick with dal, which is so rare! Good food, quick service, quiet ambience and a nice lake view.

About 60kms from Bangalore on the way to Krishnagiri. Much before A2B and Shri Krishna hotel. We ordered Idly Vada, Pongal Vada &Masala Dosa. Everything was spot on. Taste, blend and the authentic aroma of spices. Service was super fast unlike others. A defenite "YES" if you want to save time in comparison to others. Ambience was beyond words, as situated right beside the big pond. Take the pond view tables. Can completely relax and rewind. Some small cute monkeys were playing nearby. A nice sight for kids. No disturbance though. Should say a unique balance between mankind and wild. Finished with coffee and waiting to go back soon. Yes for food Yes for service Yes++n for ambience

We usually stop here to have some tea or coffee break. Also there are restrooms at this location and ample parking space is available. There is veg restaurant available at this place.

"Food what I ate was awesome" I had appam and mutton stew which was top class like how they make in Kerala. The mutton pepper fry and chicken coriander soup was too good. The restaurant as such was big and has huge space with lots of parking. The service was also good. Overall, I highly recommend them.

A good restaurant with amazing parking space, food and restrooms. The menu is quite exhaustive with both authentic foods and continental dishes. A shop is available for buying snacks during travel too. Service is quick and decent as well Crowd was too much.
