AMBUR STAR BRIYANI(r) SINCE 1890 OLD SHOP

Situated in a hotspot of an area just opposite to the railway station. Parking was impossible tho. The food was good (briyani had too much dalda ) and the ambience was just okayish. Service was not exceptional but okay. Just wanted to finish this off the bucket list having a biryani in ambur and that's why we had.

Taste and quantity of Biriyani not up to the mark, even you can expect the good taste from normal Biriyani shop. We bought a mini bucket Biriyani and I requested banana leaf but they denied and behaved badly. My suggestion if you want to taste Ambur Biriyani better try to cook yourself. All these shops are making similar things. I gone through all the reviews before going to this shop for lunch but the taste of Biriyani is not up to my expectation level. We experienced similar issues more than two times.

The quality and taste of the biryani is outstanding! Other than Kolkata and Lucknow biryani, this is one biryani that I truly loved ! Highly recommended.

This biriyani is always my favourite...and particularly this shop whenever I have visited ambur this is the best place for biriyani .last few times I have visited highway shop due to parking and bridge work in this place ..but try to visit this shop its like same ambience and taste, also low in cost. you can easily save 50rs for each person quantity also high..

A famous non-vegetarian restaurant in Ambur town on the Vellore Bangalore Highway. A fine Mutton Biriyani and a Chicken 65 make a sumptuous lunch. No dedicated car Parking available. Good service and ambience. Value for Money.

Okok Before the test was so good now, the test was average Biriyani taste totally changed after that flyover built before the hotel. I think he lost so many customers, that's why they compromise, I think so.

mutton biriyani should be in biriyani not to the Kichidi, and their is no cancel and reorder for another item. My best suggestion is plz do not go for greate expectations as 7start, road side biriyani will be more taste than these. 2 britiyani, 1 prawn pepper fry is 1100 Starts visible while playing BILL
