This is the one of the best hotel to eat nonveg meals or chicken Biryani in KOTAGIRI. Hotel really located at aravenu 2 km from KOTAGIRI. They serve chicken Biryani with pepper chicken fry it's a combo nd it costs 150 rupees. 80 rupees for meals rate and food are good as compared to other hotels in KOTAGIRI area.

We were returning from Doddabetta. Searched for restaurants on the way and missed each of them. Finally, settled in this restaurant, 'Hotel Koushika'. It was a 'mess' sort of thing, rather than a so-called restaurant. We were asked to wait for 5 min, as the seats were occupied. Then we settled. Initially, we were sceptical about the quality of the food, but, we were greeted with steaming hot rice, then, 'paruppu', chicken and fish curries. Also, side dishes of pepper chicken and fish fries. Boy, the best meal I've ever had, in the near past. Each dish was perfect and to the point. Also, we ordered veg meals, which were too good. I strongly recommend paying a visit to this hotel and enjoying their food!

One of those small family run not so fancy joints that serve simple delicious mouthwatering food. We have had only breakfast there twice and its was good,. especially their chutneys.it's a small place and opens by 8am only. Leaf service,self clearing

We had lunch here while on the Kodanad visiting with friends.The biryani was absolutely wonderful
