Customer Reviews & Testimonials
An Authentic Kerala Restaurant which has a lot of non vegetarian options like Meats and Seafoods. The service was quick, the server was very patient to take the order one by one. The food tastes good and the quantity is not so bad. kanthari beef is a must try dish.
Dude no words! Highly recommended. Must visit. I personally loved it. No food can satisfy my dad, but he enjoyed every bite. Couldn't click proper photo coz the food was amazing!!!
The food at this restaurant is exceptional. The Kerala parota and beef roast were particularly delightful, delivering a burst of flavours that is hard to find elsewhere. The atmosphere is among the best I've experienced, and the friendly staff were more than accommodating, catering to our preference for spicy food. To top it off, the Sulaimani tea was simply awesome. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
Food was fantastic, authentic kerala style foods and ambience is also good but I feel that they are under staffed even for water refill we had to ask them 4 times and waited for 20 mins ,when the place hardly had 6 customer families to serve. They are nice people but need more attention and care towards customers. I have seen plenty of other restaurant staffs notice and refill water without even asking. After having such good hospitality in other restaurants it was a bit disappointing experience.
I have dinned here 3 times, and all the time the food has never been severed HOT. I think don't have any proper casserole to store the food. We ordered more than three types of dishes and all of them were cold. Taste is okay. So we would eat. BAD HYGIENE. WASH AREA LOOK UNTIDY AND DINNING AREA LOOK UNMOPPED FOR DAYS. Cleanliness doesn't matter, but food isn't sever for low rates right. It cost 200-400 for per person dinning then basic cleanliness do matter. Must improve.
A big shoutout to Abhin from the staff--he was extremely helpful and guided us in choosing the best dishes from the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, and both my friend and I really enjoyed it. Though it's a bit pricier than what we're used to in Kerala, the quality and taste made it worthwhile. Great service and a satisfying dining experience overall!
Worst lunch I ever had in my life. Ordered Chatti choru, Chicken biryani and Pothi choru veg... Oh god dnt know how they get such good reviews. It's shame for Kerala cuisine. Try to change ur Chef or I request the owner or incharge of the resturant at Velachery to taste the lunch once. Service is poor Taste is too worst (got stomach upset) Price is higher not worth No use in having such good ambience with poor, untasty and unhigenc food.
Finally visited this Kerala restaurant at Nungambakkam. The restaurant looks good, good designs on the walls, whoever has painted the picture has done a great job. There is good seating capacity. Friends, family or group can visit this restaurant. Food is not that great, we had Kerala parotta with egg roast and Kadala curry. Kerala paroota was flaky and good can give it 4/5. The egg roast was decent 3/5. The kadala curry was ok 2/5. The puttu was average 2.5/5. We also had two payasam which cost 150Rs for just 20ml may be not worth the money the taste was 3/5. We also ended our meal with a tea and sulaimani instead of sulaimani they gave black tea. The tea and black tea was 2.5/5. The place looks good but the tables nope, they are not taking efforts to clean the table and keep it neat for next customer. I'm not a great fan of this restaurant, wanted to try and tried.
