Amaravathi | Authentic Andhra Restaurant

Beware of this restaurant. I just happened to visit this location on Pongal Day. There was good crowd, we waited for atleast 15 minutes to get a table. Then another 20-30 minutes for ordering. To my suprise, they had a separate menu card for Pongal season only(sorry didn't capture the photo) with price inflated minimum 10-30 rupees higher. Never expected this from Amaravathi. Then most of them are not available . Food was not at all as per the regular taste. All were just painted to makeup and match the item. Chicken 65, Seer Fish fry, Vazhaipoo 65 had same masala. Mutton Chuka Briyani is the worst. Goli Soda sold at 60 rupees with no MRP printed on it, just a sticker put for packed date. I am not how that company obtained FSSAI licence. Overall a worst place which we will never visit again.

Prime location, on road restaurant and easily identifiable. Adjacent road to Iskon temple. Plenty of parking is available for both bikes & cars. Yes it's Free parking. Delhi dhaba is also available inside the same entrance. We went there for lunch! Ordered both veg bhojanam and Non-veg. Rice and gravies are unlimited if you are dining in. (Limited if ordered). Veg meals price is 275rs and non-veg meals around 475rs. Rice and other dishes will be served hot Their spl gongura chutney is For good eating people this will be a good value for money. I tried fish finger and it was good I didn't capture other photos so adding only few. For takeaway veg meals is not available but carrier meals and they are charging 487rs for this. Enough for 2 people but again it's limited since takeaway. Usually less than 5-10 min waiting time but if holiday & crowded then the waiting time is more. So plan accordingly.

The food taste is nothing but only spicy . No taste in any food we ordered as Biriyani virundhu and Non veg meals virundhu . Price is too much while comparing the quality . The only positive is the hotel provides ample amount of space for car parking .

The highlight of the meal was the podi mixed with ghee--an explosion of flavors that added a unique touch. The hotel caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, with Non-Veg Meals priced at 475 and Fish Meals at 950, ensuring a variety of options for all. To round off the meal, I enjoyed a refreshing Koli Soda, a perfect way to cleanse the palate. Overall, the restaurant provides a satisfying experience with quality food at reasonable prices.

The food was absolutely delicious -- real Andhra flavors with an authentic touch. The sambhar made by Surendra was especially outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the whole experience even better.

Both the veg and non veg thali here is superb ... simple homely fresh taste . The highlight is the mutton gongura which i order online most of the time and store it in fridge and eat it like a pickle... it's really great .

Today, I had the chance to visit Amaravathi Andhra Restaurant for a family lunch. According to their reputation, they offer an enjoyable dining experience with authentic Andhra flavors. There were a few things I liked, and a few I didn't. On the positive side, the restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and the service team was excellent. I would rate the service 5 out of 5 and the ambience 4.5 out of 5. However, when it comes to the most important aspect--food quality--I was extremely disappointed. I'd give it only 1 out of 5. The pricing also didn't feel justified, so again, 1 out of 5 for cost. Despite claiming to serve Andhra cuisine, this was honestly the worst Andhra food I've ever had.
