Customer Reviews & Testimonials
We ordered the following: 1. Mudakkathan dosa 2. Set dosa vadacurry 3. Pudi Kozhukattai 4. Keerai vada 5. Adai Aviyal 6. Idiyappam Kurma 7. Elaneer Payasam 8. Paal Sharbat Mudakkathan dosa, Elaneer Payasam, Keerai Vada were must haves- absolutely do not miss out on trying them. Set dosa with vadacurry, Pudi Kozhukattai and Idiyappam Kurma were pretty good if you wanted to try something different from the standard fare. Adai Aviyal was average, and the Paal Sharbat is a mix of Milkmaid and Nannari Sharbat, which was far too sweet. Service was extremely fast, and even on a crowded evening we only waited about 15 minutes to get a table. The staff was super courteous, but the restaurant itself is a bit cramped especially when crowded. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Update : went for breakfast, ordered the Millet Mini Meal (last pic attached), this was excellent. Vada is not included in this meal, but the Ragi Poori was so delicious with no excess oil, Pongal and Dosa both excellent. I highly recommend you try this particular set in the morning , 10/10.
Nothing special about the place or the service but will exceed the taste and quality of South Indian breakfast of other well known restaurants. See the photo of the pongal. A large table spoon of ghee in the center of pongal with 3 chutneys and sambar. It's simply bliss.
We ordered idly, ghee podi dosa, masala dosa and filter coffee. We liked the food very much. The staff behavior was very good.
If you're looking for the best place for vegetarian South Indian food, this restaurant is a must-visit! The flavors are authentic and truly remind you of the South. Their sothi idly and adai are top-notch!!! Perfectly made and bursting with that traditional South Indian taste. Make sure to check out their daily specials - they're always worth trying. Just a tip: go for an early dinner to avoid the crowd, as this spot gets quite busy (for good reason!). Highly recommended for anyone craving quality vegetarian fare.
First timer . It's kind of in a hidden place . One of my friends suggested this place and we went there for breakfast . Kind of a late breakfast at 11 am. They had mostly everything available . Service was quick . Good interiors inside and lots of place to sit and eat . Parking was ok. Was a bit small but we managed .. Food quality was good but I had some issue with digesting the vada curry . It tasted really good when eating but took me atleast an hour to digest . Probably because it was late breakfast ! Idly Vada Sambar was super duper . Coffee was exceptional .. I have heard that their lunch meals are also good . Wanted to give 5 star but because of vada curry issue , had to give 4 stars .
Visited Andhikkadai for quick lunch. Happy with quality of food and table service. I Would like to highlight betterment areas like way to WASHROOM is very much sticking and need maintenance. Also Mirror at washbasin will be a good option. Pls do visit and share your feedback
