Benjarong has been our go-to spot for comfort food, especially for lunch, and for good reason. This Thai restaurant consistently delivers on quality, flavor, and hospitality, making every visit a delightful experience. Whether it's a leisurely afternoon meal or a quick escape into authentic Thai flavors, Benjarong never disappoints. Their soups are an absolute must-try--warm, aromatic, and packed with depth. The Clear Dumpling Soup is especially comforting, with delicate, flavorful dumplings floating in a light yet deeply satisfying broth. One of the best Thai restaurants that i have tried so far in chennai. Food was so great. Service was average as the staff seemed like they had a lot to handle. Great place for dining with family and friends. It's a bit on the pricier side but the experience is totally worth the cost. Everything had coconut milk or ground coconuts in it, it's too much coconut in one meal, even for South Indians Parking is not that ample, you may have to find a street parking space in that busy road. I tried their Red curry with fish, the fish just melted in my mouth. Sticky rice with coconut pudding was out of this world. Must try this place.

Visited Benjarong for lunch to enjoy some authentic Thai cuisine, and it was an excellent experience as always. The restaurant continues to maintain its consistency and quality, making it our first choice for Thai food in Chennai. We started with Goong Yai Tod Prik, a prawn dish that had a mild yet flavorful taste. Alongside, we had Khao Phad Egg, a simple yet delicious vegetable fried rice with well-balanced flavors. To end the meal on a sweet note, we tried Kanom Dok-Mali, a sticky rice pudding that was clean, well-prepared, and not overly sweet--just perfect. Overall, Benjarong remains one of the best places in Chennai for authentic Thai cuisine, offering a great balance of taste, quality, and consistency. Highly recommended!

This place gives us different experience from regular restaurants and serves decent thai food. They serve complementary" Miang Kham" which was very delicious . we ate: 1.Gai Hor baitaey - Best and must try chicken starter.(5/5) 2.Tod prik tai on - Prawns starter which is very different from regilar chinese starter.(4/5) 3.Phad thai (Chicken) - Decent taste (3/5) 4.Kaeng Ped( prawn) with jasmine rice - could be made more authentic (3/5) 5.Kanom dok mali - Tasty dessert (4/5) and ended the meal with fresh watermelon and pinapple jucie. They also offered 10% discount on the bill for not using the Mobile phone through out the meal.

The restaurant is one of the best when it comes to Thai food. It's an experience place complete with a culture explosion. Decore and dress code takes you to a certain estate in the heart of Thailand, away from the bustling city life. Waiting time is never too long and drinks are always refreshing. Their raw papaya salad is a must-try!!

Food was alright. Not authentic Thai but it was flavorful. Some dishes were really good and some were just average. Will go back only if someone else is paying, I wouldn't want to spend my money here.

A fine restaurant which is deserving of 5 stars, for everything from their food to the service and ambience. It was a lovely experience we had during dinner. The only reason I've reduced one star is that it's a bit too pricey and the 10% service charge could've been 5% for the prices in the menu. But if you can find the place with offers, it's totally worth the experience! The food was authentic and tasty, it will satisfy any Thai food lover's expectation! After a very long time, I've had the chance to drop by this place which has evaded from my captures since the stone age. As a welcome platter, they serve spinach leaves with nuts, onion, ginger, lime, chili, and honey. Take a scoop of each, stuff on the leaf with a spoon of the chili honey, fold them, and munch them to find the best of all. The flavors start to burst inside with crunchiness, sweetness/sour, and spiciness all in one bite, WOW!!! Pretty much all the dishes were in the native Thai language so had a tough time understanding and pronouncing them. Tom kha phak - Thai style coconut cream soup with mushroom and all native spices; a sweet coconut with a strong spice-filled soup which wasn't overpowering the base. Ain't spicy but very fragrant and the smooth texture was enjoyable!! Neau Tod prik Thai - Tenderloin roasted in Thai chili paste and basil; a crunchy outer with spicy coating on the soft meat, WOW!! Amazing mix of basil and meat which lingers in the tongue even after a while!! Tofu & Mushroom yai - Sauteed well with regional spices, this was filled with proteins and ended up buttery. Very soft, mild spiced, GOOD!! Khao phad namprik pow je - Thai veg fried rice with vegetables and very light sauce. A bit more peanuts on the same would've been great but this was tummy filling, must try with the honey chili sauce!! Bamee pahd prik Gai - Flat noodles in minced chicken and aromatic basil. The portion size was perfect with the noodles being so smooth and the juicy meat elevating the overall taste!! Kanom Dok mali - Thai pandan-flavored sweet sticky rice topped with ice cream and served with coconut custard and pudding. This one is a must-try; very mild pandan with sweet ice cream, too-good sweet custard, and a jiggly jelly pudding!! Loved it!! Iced coffee - I believe I'm turning to be a coffee person rather than a tea just because of this amazing cold coffee which I'm trying lately. The flavor was exquisite, sharp with the right amount of sweetness, GREAT!! Tender coconut mojito - Conventional lemon mojito mixed with elaneer and pieces of the coconut all around. The mint flavor was good and balanced the drink's overall pH!! Wild Orchid - A tangy drink that was a bit on the fruity orange palette and flowery, couldn't relate to the overall flavor but very good!!! This is the best Thai restaurant in the city and the second best would be miles behind them. They've got valet parking while table booking is recommended. The decor and the ambience are very appealing with good seating space. Their service was commendable with good suggestions and support while ordering. The waiting time for food was minimal and I'd come back again to try out other items from their menu. Lastly, they're quite expensive but using Zomato coupons would help a lot.
