Good. I had dahi puri, chole bhature and paneer parathe. Best was dahi puri, absolutely delicious and good quantity. Second was paneer parathe, taste was good but portion was diappointing. It could be bigger in size. The most diappointing was chole bhature, there major miss on the flavour. It just didnt taste like chole. The bhature were really good. It comes with onion and chutney and lemon pickle. There are a lot of people, and the overall service is slow. The ground floor has a lot of snacks items for sale as well. Very good atmosphere.

Very authentic chaat and North Indian food. Quantities are sumptuous. Service very quick as we were early. Only negatives: tables very close together and gets noisy as more people come. The kitchen noise can be heard too. But, definitely worth visiting.

We visited the restaurant for dinner at 6:45 PM and placed an order for Rawa Dosa and Vada. Unfortunately, the food was only served at 7:25 PM after a considerable delay. Hoping the delay was specific to that order, we subsequently ordered a Plain Dosa, which was delivered a bit faster at 7:50 PM. We also ordered coffee at this point, but despite waiting patiently, it never arrived. Eventually, we left without having coffee and proceeded to settle the bill at the cash counter. Secondly, regarding food quality -- while the Vada was quite good, the Rawa Dosa and Plain Dosa were disappointing. The batter was clearly not properly fermented, making them taste quite unpleasant. We couldn't even finish half and had to leave it uneaten. Third, when we mentioned this to the server, he simply smiled and walked away without any response, which was both unprofessional and disappointing. Lastly, the overall attentiveness of the staff needs improvement. They seemed disengaged, walking around the restaurant without paying attention to customer needs. I sincerely urge the management to improve food quality checks and staff training to provide a better dining experience.

I went to this restaurant with family and ordered couple of dishes and I found a cockroach in my food right after I look a bit of it. These has been shared to manager and server there immediately took the plates and rushed to drop off the plates from me but I look picture beforehand. I hardly think the restaurant kitchen is not clean as it's looks from the outside. We were unable to finish our dinner at that night as we were disgusted. Bikanervala is a well known restaurant in Chennai...Interior and ambience was fantastic... Tried chole bhature and taste was good enough... Price was a bit high in my opinion... The kesari lassi was also tasty...

Tried the Bhel puri and papdi chat here, Bhel puri was worth every penny, good quantity and tasty, meanwhile papdi chat was little expensive for what they had to offer but it was decent. Great decor though
