Geetham Veg Restaurant - Velachery

After encountering a packed house at Akshayam, we decided to head to Geetham for lunch today which ended up in a disappointing service experience and sadly, the overall experience was not up to the mark. Service: The service was extremely poor. We had to call the server more than 10 times just to get water, and even then, it wasn't served promptly. Lunch took about 20-25 minutes to arrive, which felt unnecessarily long. The lack of attentiveness from the staff was very disappointing. Being such a big player in the market and this kind of service is very poor on the management. Educate ! Food: On the positive side, the food was mostly delicious. We tried a variety of dishes, starting with soups, starters, and moving to the main course. However, a few items, specifically rasam was not up to expectations. It's unfortunate that the service didn't match the quality of most of the dishes. Pricing: I've attached the invoice for reference, detailing the items we tried and their prices. I personally feel it was expensive for the service they provide. Parking Issues: There was no specific person to manage the valet parking. This caused confusion and significant delays, especially during vehicle return, making the overall experience even more frustrating. Hoping the management of Geetham and takes this feedback seriously. Better service and proper parking management would make the dining experience much more enjoyable.

Been visiting here almost everyday for the past few weeks. The food is exceptional and the service top notch. The dining space is big and easily accommodates too many people at a time. I seldom had to wait for a table. Ghee roast, idli, VIP meal (Idli, Vadai, Pongal combo), Masala milk, Idiyappam coconut milk are some of my favourite items. Not once did Geetham disappoint me, even when I try something new. Their coffee is good. I never once got sick from eating here. There is something about this place that makes me visit here often. Could be because they give you as many cups of sambar as you want. Special mention to their Chettinad special sweet that is served in the evenings

For 20 mini tiffins and 10 plates of idli, all I asked was an extra sambar and some tissues. But they gave sambar in a tiny cup and outright refused to give extra chutney. What kind of pathetic service is this? When I asked for tissues, they gave just two--for a parcel meant for 20 people. Are we begging for food or paying for it? They treated us like we were getting it for free. Absolutely disgusting. And to top it off, one mini tiffin cost 180--way overpriced compared to even the best tiffin places in the city. The worst part? We had other plans for breakfast, but I insisted my family eat here. Turned out to be a terrible mistake and a horrible way to start the day.

We recently visited geetham vegetarian restaurant and had a great experience overall. The food was excellent and definitely worth the price. All the starters we tried were very good -- the Paneer Tikka was especially outstanding, and the Dragon Roll tasted great too. The highlight for us was the Kunafa, which was delicious and a must-try here. Service, however, could definitely be improved, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. Note parking during rush hours can be quite tough.Would still recommend it for the amazing food!

One of the best veg restaurants I have ever been to.. I went there for 3 days straight, one for bf, 1 dinner and 1 pick up dinner.., all different branches.. all the experiences were excellent!! The staffs are so polite and very quick in their service... They were so nice that they actually checked our bill before handing it over to us and corrected an item which was added by mistake to the bill., such was their service.. all the foods which we ordered for 3 days were served hot and fresh and were very tasty.. no taste of artificial flavors whatsoever.. I will highly recommend this to all my family and friends!! A must visit restaurant!!

Saddest soup ever. The servers don't know the difference between ketchup and jam. One kulfi is exhorbitantly charged at 95 rupees. For card swiping purposes, the server used the same GREASY gloves he used to pickup plates, and held my card with that same hand. When confronted he realised what he had been doing, but refused to accept. Place is overpriced.
