Tasty Food & Budget-Friendly Spot in Maduvinkarai Visited Hotel Balu Military recently and had a satisfying experience. It's a medium-sized restaurant with all the basic amenities--nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for a quick and filling meal. We ordered Kothu Parotta and Mutton Pepper Fry. The food didn't disappoint. The Kothu Parotta was flavorful, and the Salna and Raita served alongside were excellent and complemented the dish really well. The Mutton Pepper Fry had good flavor, though it would have been even better if the mutton was cooked a bit more tender. To finish off our meal, we tried the Kalaki--it was delicious and perfectly spiced, just the way it should be. Overall, it's a decent and budget-friendly spot for anyone looking for a quick, tasty meal in the Maduvinkarai area. Would recommend it for casual dining or takeout.

I ordered non veg meals and Schezwan chicken fried rice. Meals better. Fried rice does not have a good smell, no chicken they used something else surely. Rice sticky..... My daughter is vomiting. Using bad oil too. Some one wants to spoil your health visit here.

Had great experience in tasting original Seeraga samba mutton Biriyani at Balu military hotel . The taste of biriyani was awesome with organic flavour . The veg meals that we ordered along with was like home style meals and serves two people .the owner Ranjit was so cordial and polite .

Days when you want a comfort meal with quick services this place is a must try. The Kalakki is really fluffy and tasty. If seafood is a weakness go ahead with any of the prawn option. The special non veg thali comes with a chicken dish and atleast 6 gravies and an omlette.

One of the best hotel in Adambakkam I've tried their meals and Briyani They serve 6 gravies with unlimited rice Chicken Mutton Crab Fish Prawn Egg These gravies in addition, one poriyal and kootu Rasam and buttermilk Briyani taste and quantity was great Best thing is their service... The staffs were polite and owner was a down to earth person who made sure we get everything on time... Would highly recommend this place for Non veg meals costed Rs.120 which is reasonable

The owner doesn't have courtesy at all. Being the military hotel they have to give all Kuzhambus to Dosa. But this man when we ordered Dosa, he is not giving plain chicken Kuzhambu that all without a single small piece and arguing that he will give only Sambar. Very very worst and no one should go to this hotel and rating is below below normal. He should go and learn from other military hotels as how to serve. This is not a vegetarian hotel . I am a senior citizen but arguing with me like anything
