Junior Kuppanna - Chrompet

This chain boasts authentic South Indian dishes and they deliver it also but only on the Non vegetarian side. The vegetarian option still needs a lot of improvement . The place is located in the congested place of Chromepet where other big restaurants share the same space. The management needs to provide valet parking and the absence of it is a big disadvantage for this place. I won't recommend this place if you are going with a 4 wheeler. The ambiance is somewhat average keeping in mind the amount hey charge against each dish. Either they improve the ambiance and make it.more spacious or reduce the price. The staff is well trained and quick to take orders and serve it hot. They have good range of South Indian dishes in menu and the quality on non vegetarian side is authentic and good but vegetarian is big disappointment. The food needs improvement and they need to work on quality and quantity if they are charging this amount. This place is not pocket friendly.

The very very bad experience I have ever got in a restaurant. Very bad service, very bad food quality, very bad ambiance. I have to wait for more than 30 min for an order which was said to give in 2 min. Had minimal variety. The food is very very below average. I would give negative points for the food. Litterly waste of money. And it's too pricy. 300 for non veg meals for that worst food is a scam for sure. My suggestion never visit to kinda restaurant.

Went in for 3pm lunch. Since it was late, meals was not available. Opted for 2 mutton biryani,vanjaram fry and chicken lollipop. We were informed it might take time and got the order after 20 mins ,which was fine since we expected it to be late after 3pm Food was good,but it seems quantity has reduced a bit for biryani as I have earlier been to different branches in Coimbatore.

We went as a couple to have some food post lunch time, I completely agree to the point that food was available even at 4pm, a genuine comment that Meals wouldn't be available at that time is reasonable. We liked the ambience, Thought they had some issues with AC (maybe a temporary issue), the service was Good. But to my surprise the price is too much for such a small quantity of food. We ordered Chicken Briyani, Egg briyani and Chicken Chukka, Blueberry soda. - I honestly felt the price and the quantity never filled our hearts and stomach. Yes, Quality is good, I would never pau such a price for this petite quantity for sure. I would suggest to raise the quantity if you're pricing the food this high, Comparatively we do have other competing restaurant serving same Seeraga samba rice/briyani for a very good quality and quantity will be pretty filling. If you think "then go to that restaurant " or "being so stingy" I would say, people come here to enjoy quality time and food, not fill their stomach half and pay bigger price. Junior kuppana should revise their prices and increase quantity to attract more customers.

One of the worst experience, no proper response, serving meals more than half an hour. Even though of few croud.

Please check food whatever you ordered. I have ordered chicken biryani. Normally two chicken pieces provided other plates. My plate only one piece provided i have complained about this. But no proper response. No proper electricity maintenance inside restaurant. AC not working properly. Service not best.

I like junior kuppanna in general as i have eaten in other branches but this branch in chrompet seems to be new, the ambience is too small, packed, and noisy. Food tastes average but quicker than expected Service is decent Don't touch the panneer soda, it tastes like sugar water, I didn't like it!

Had an unsatisfactory experience at this place. It was the Restraunt, it was the waiter who had a very weird attitude and was very arrogant and irresponsible. The food ALSO wasn't acceptable. The Salem egg dosa that we ordered wasn't even cooked properly, the chilli parota had way too many chilli flakes and it was so spicy, the peri peri chicken wasn't even hot. It felt as if it was cooked in the hours before serving it to us. Once we had complained to the waiter, we expected him to take back the chicken and prepare a new one instead he kept apologising and left the chicken on the table to dry. Over all it was a very unpleasant experience . We also noticed so many people who also had various complaints about the food and I wouldn't suggest to go to this place if you're looking for good food.
